We were in search of a small table to put between our camping chairs while out on the road. This piece fills the bill perfectly. Very sturdy and collapses into a single plane for easy storage.

This is exactly what we were seeking for our patio. The wood is beautiful and the craftsmanship seems top-notch. I gave it only 4 stars because of one feature that could use improvement: the table folds up, a very important element - but in the open, unfolded position, there is nothing to hold the movable legs in place. So when you pick the table up to move it from place to place the legs swing loose. Most tables like this have notches and/or a velcro strap on the supports beneath the table top to prevent this. Because the top is slatted, I was able to affix a strap of velcro to it to hold the legs in place, but it detracts from the beauty of the table top...

This is a product review for the "Byer of Maine Pangean Collection- Folding Table". It must be noted that even though the product states "Byer of Maine", the table is actually made in Vietnam. No biggie, but i think its important to note.Now on the the table itself. Its constructed with nice, solid wood. Its a bit too heavy for a backpacking trip but works wonderfully for car camping. Couple this with a nice foldable chair + leg rest, you will be able to enjoy the simple creature comforts outdoors. My friends were VERY jealous that i had my own table when it came time to eat.One thing; the wood on top seems unsealed, so putting a cold drink directly on the table during a hot day will result in the wood absorbing the moisture and puffing up. This could be remedied by a thin coat of sealer. It should hold up under normal use and for $35 bucks, this little table will be coming on future camping trips.*NOTE* This table sits a bit low, so i would check your chair height first.

This table is built like it will last for years to come!! I was so pleasantly surprised to get it home. It was by far the least expensive on Amazon that was folding, wood and not plastic. But.... we all know how the least expensive sometimes comes as not-exactly-what-you-wanted LOL. I took the gamble and boy did this payoff. The table is built like a solid piece of furniture. Solid legs. Solid Cross bar Solid table slats. It is not flimsy and it is made of high quality wood, that has been stained and sealed. I would certainly buy other products from BYER OF MAINE in the future. OOH!! And did I say, It came fully assembled - added plus!! First Class all the way. (as a matter-of-fact, currently looking at some chairs.)

The dimensions were just right as was the way the seat folds up. We chose a fold up model because the space in our guest bathroom doesn't accommodate one to just sit there. This is for a guest to sit on while drying off of shaving legs etc. However the finish was very bad. Very rough as if the wood was just given a bare bones sand and then the finish applied. It was very rough and not the quality we wanted in our guest bathroom. Also the slats that are for sitting on should be screwed down not lightly nailed down. We had to sand the item and then apply 2 coats of lacquer to bring it up to "code". I would have rather paid more on the front end. I expect that we are going to have to be attaching the slats more securely down the road.

This table is surprisingly well built. It looks very nice (like teak). It sits on a covered porch and does not wobble or shake.

Small enough to fit in a trunk and to carry for snacks at a brewery or winery. Perfect for my needs.

This is a great little portable table. Feels sturdy and high quality.
