can anyone tell me the dimension of this chair and also if possible the thickness (diameter) of the metal legs.

Its Big. In the Roll bag its 95cm tall 23cm diameter and about 70 cm circumference. The tubing on the legs is 2cm diameter x 1mm. The seat area is 50cm wide at back and 60cm wide at front and sits 45cm off the ground. I am 6ft 5 tall and 185kg - its worked great for me. Only thing is I bought it to carry on a Motorbike - i have wide handlebars so it "just" works but you can carry it over your back. Hope this helps.

Measurment from seat base ( where bottom sits) to highest point of backrest please! is it high enough to support head while in sitting position?

Sorry, I bought this as a gift so I can't measure it now. They do love it though and both told me they fell asleep in them easily, even when it wasn't planned!

I've read very mixed reviews. Whats the quality like and are they robust? in some reviews ive read that arm has broken or legs buckled etc.

I got 2 and had no issues with them whatsoever. Found them to be sturdy and good quality. My partner and I are both over 20 stone and the seats took us with no problems even on a rocky beach.

There are two slots in the front two corners of the frame, is this for an attachment like a footrest? If so, where can I purchase one?

I'm not exactly sure what they are for but I sit my little parasol umbrella between the arm rest and the seat and sit it into one of the holes.
