This USB cable can be used to replace the 5v. adapter that is used to power the emitter and/or receiver base units of any Wireless IR Repeater/Emitter/Receiver. It has been tested on Inteset's Wireless IR Repeater/Receiver Kit base units but it will replace the power adapter of any similar product from another seller. The primary benefit is to eliminate the bulky adapter and give the user the option to power the base unit by plugging the cable into any USB connector available on the back of the TV or other available device.
