I absolutely LOVE this lipstick!! The applicator is very nice as well!! Great pigmentation, very flattering, and lasts all day. The thing I really love is how moisturizing it is!! I didn’t need a primer and it was so soft yet very matte. Didn’t dry out my lips at all!! I will definitely be purchasing another one!

I’m obsessed with this lip stick. It is HIGHLY pigmented and transfer proof. It’s also long wearing so I never had to reapply even after eating. I used a lip primer (MAC) underneath it so it wasn’t drying at all. I use about two layers really get the deep red I’m looking for and the blurred matte look is no beautiful. I would definitely recommend using a lip primer or moisturizer underneath as reds can be very dry. This deep red was exactly what I was looking for and the wand makes for a very smooth application. Also no weird smell or taste. The texture is creamy but thick. Very comfortable, will buy again!

I was really skeptical, but I wanted a good matte lip color. I'm not fond of ooey-gooey blindingly shiny gloss. The "muddy" aspect of this was concerning. However, like another reviewer stated, it does feel smooth on the lips. Hard to imagine, but true. Not cakey or thick. It would call it LONG-lasting, but it doesn't come off as easily as many others making a similar claim. It didn't settle into lip lines or bleed. Just silky and soft. I would have given it 5 stars, but I didn't think the color was berry-ish... more like brown with a little mauve mixed in.

I really love this color. Looks really natural on my lips, it's like a tiny shade darker than my lips, but it has a really soft powdery matte finish that looks amazing. I am kind of addicted to the smell, it seriously smells like chocolate mousse to me. It's not really a stain, it does have a fair amount of staying power because of the matte finish, but you will have to reapply throughout the day. But totally worth the $. I will be getting this in other colors.

Doesn't work as well as it describes, you have to keep applying it over and over in order for it to stain.

Where has this been all my life? Well, let's face it, the cosmetics today are light years ahead of where they were when I first started wearing makeup. This little ITY Velvet Matte Lip Stain is easy to apply with a little applicator that comes with it. I got the Red Velvet color, a true red with a dash of blue undertones. Works well with my skin tone, kind of apricotty with blue eyes that really pop when I'm wearing this. The color stays put for a while. I've only worn this as a lip stain, so it is definitely matte, but I think a coating of lip gloss would change that, if that's the look you're going for. There's quite a bit in the pot, so I do think you get value for money.
