If you're anything like most people, you can't live without your favorite beverages, whether it's the life-sustaining cup of coffee that you drag to work with you every morning, the endless gulps of water and electrolyte-fortified sports drinks that keep you going through a long afternoon at the gym or a tough practice session with the company softball team, or the iced tea that you sip while you're unwinding at home and watching the sun go down. Why is it so hard to stay hydrated when you're dodging potholes with your car or truck, bobbing along on the waves of a nearby lake during your latest vacation, or bumping across the city on the last train home? With the way it's designed, it'll be easy enough for you to click one of these lids open whenever you want to take a drink or take it off entirely when you need a refill, but difficult for the contents of your cup to spill under any other conditions, which gives you a chance to enjoy all of life's most refreshing, thirst quenching comforts even when you're on the go.

Really bad paper weight
Does not keep coffee from spilling. Washed it 3 times and tried it 3 times. Did NOT work as 'spill proof' any time. No use for it as far as that goes. Bought because YETI doesn't make one of their own. I think we are asking for just too much in a lid.

I like the idea but the design needs some work
I like the idea but the design needs some work. When hot liquid is in the cup, the steam (pressure) pushes the lid off of the cup. I have to keep releasing the pressure by opening the lid a little more often than I want to sometimes. It is leak proof but you still cannot throw it in a backpack left unattended because of the need to release the pressure. Due to the lack of vent the liquid only dribbles out of the hole. The flip lid does not flip back completely so it gets in the way when taking a drink. My nose hits the lid before I can get anything to drink out of it. It would be great if it was placed in the middle of the lid and opened all the way back and had a vent hole.

Going to get a different one
Spill proof so far which is good. However flip top is poorly designed. Sticks up way to far. You hit the bridge of your nose when you drink going to get a slide top instead.

... Tumbler that came with a lid that had a great seal around the edge
I have a Yeti Tumbler that came with a lid that had a great seal around the edge, however there was no way to it. So I ordered another lid that I can close which is this one, however this one does not seal around the edge. The top closes and it creates a great seal but it still leaks from around the edge. I would not but this product and I don't recommend any one else does as well. Look for another brand that will fit the top better that can be closed.

although I still recommend not tipping it over
I got the one with the logo on it, someone previously reviewed this product and knocked off one star because of the logo, but the logo was put on by a sticker. This lid works! I havent had a problem with leakage or popping off, although I still recommend not tipping it over.

Worked great for a year then broke
This worked great for a year and a month from December 2017 to January 2019. Will probably buy new one. Fit snugly in my yeti tumbler which is important since I haved had some that fall out too easy.

Definitely Spill Proof but...
I love that it's spill safe but I agree with other reviews - the lid flipper crushes into your nose when you're trying to take a drink lol Awkward. And I'm afraid to put anything carbonated in my cup with it on because there's no vent - don't want an unexpected explosion to scare the heck out of me lol

Great Customer Service
Great Customer Service.I ordered the lid, when it arrived the enclosure was put on the lip crooked and because of this it would leak when closed. When i received the email to do a review, replied out the issue. Rob write back to me in a couple of hours and said a new lid was put in the mail to me. I had it in two days and it now closes properly.Overall the Lip does what it supposed to, keeps liquid in and does not leak. I am happy with my purchase
