Enough "beef" for two sounders
I bought this to replace the transformer in our system because my wife could no longer hear the chimes in the hall when she was watching TV in the lounge. So I added another set of chimes in the lounge and the original transformer (over 35 years old) couldn't generate enough of a sound. Both chimes are Honeywell Ding Dong Classic.Swapped it for this one and both chimes are now ringing loud and clear. Very happy with the result.

Buzzes extremely
Got it, installed it, uninstalled it as it was buzzing so loudly

Works very well
Replaced a 1960s era doorbell transformer that didn't have enough oomph for two bell chimes. Simple to fix and resolved the issue completely.

Powers 3 bell chimes
I needed sufficient watts to supply power to activate 3 Friedland door chimes (on three separate floors). This transformer does this at adequate volume.
