Good Food for a good price
I was feeding my 15 mo old 52 lb, Boxer, Origen Original ($91.00 for 25 lb). According to dogfoodadviser.com, it has 35% protein and earned a 5 star rating. My boxer seemed to like it and was doing well on it. I heard about Amazon's WAG and ordered 2 trial size bags (1 Turkey & 1 Lamb). Dogfoodadviser.com tested it for 34% protein and gave it a 4.5 star rating. My boxer didn't seem to notice the change (I went for the turkey since that's what she was familiar with in the Origen). I can't say she runs for it like it was a bowl full of dried liver treats, but she eats 35 oz per day (1/2 AM, 1/2 PM) and now at 23 mo she weighs 61 lean lbs, has tons of energy and a fantastic coat. Feeding cost is now less than half of what the Origen was and, with Prime, free delivery and 5% - 10% if you set up Subscribe & Save.

A medium quality dry food at a good price
I have fed my dog a very expensive, grain-free dry food for about five years. I decided to find out how he does on a kibble that is not grain free. The ingredients won't be pleasing to a purist, but they are quite decent. In the past, he ignored other dog food. Though, of course, if he were to get hungry enough, he'd dig in. But with Wag he started eating it right away. As to putting him on some grains, time will tell. This has "no added grains."

my dogs love it, and switching to wag stopped the shedding! Seriously!
My English springer and sharpei mix simply adore this food (although they are admittedly, putting it mildly, not at all picky). I switched over from halo spots stew grain free surf & turf formula which both have been enjoying for years b/c halo food costs went up substantially recently from all possible sites including amazon (a 14 lb bag is about 50 bucks, maybe a little less w/amazons subscribe and save program - used to be about 35 bucks and I was buying 2 of the 14 lb bags per month for my pups who are very active and high energy). Since completely converting my dogs to the WAG turkey and lentil formula, not only is it WAY cheaper than halo spots stew surf & turf - my sharpei mix Kody who has fur similar to a german shepherd and he literally sheds huge hairballs ALL YEAR LONG has almost totally STOPPED shedding. I kid you not! This may be coincidence b/c I also started giving about 4 weeks ago about 1 tablespoonful of cold pressed organic coconut oil in his food every night - people go on and on about benefits of coconut oil so perhaps lack of shedding coincided w/the coconut oil moreso than the switch to wag food. Regardless, my Kody was the type of dog where you just lightly pet him and a pile of fur comes out in your hand - that undercoat was DENSE and never ending. Now, even when you scratch his neck or behind his ears (which used to generate literally PILES of fur) - NOTHING. Wag food + coconut oil = GODSEND :). thanks, Amazon!

Flavor? I have no idea but my dog loves it!
I initially purchased the trio pack which contained Beef, Salmon and Turkey. I set up three bowls containing each one. I let me dog decide which one he wanted to eat. He destroyed the turkey bag and then he eventually ate the salmon and beef. Just to make sure I ordered the big bag of Turkey and my dog immediately got excited and pounded that bowl. So my dog is a Turkey fan! I think the trio pack is a great opportunity to let your fur friend decide what he/she wants to have for dinner. Glad I gave it a shot instead of just assuming I thought he would like.

3 of 4 dogs loved it. The fourth is not a happy camper.
Three of our dogs are doing great on this food, and transitioned without issue; they wait in great anticipation for their meals and have been thriving with no issues whatsoever. The food is kind of lower in caloric density than other foods, so I have had to give them a bit more than other brands, but it doesn't seem to be causing problems. My fourth dog, the lab, is a different story. He is producing gas to rival a cattle car. His stomach is clearly upset, and he's suffering. He's hesitant to eat his food-- something he's never done before, even with food that makes him vomit-- because of how bad he feels. I blame it on the bacterial cultures, because he's never had any trouble with any of the other ingredients in the food, and my previous successful brands have had mixes of the other ingredients without issues. So if your dog seems to be particularly gassy after trying this, you're not alone. My poor boy will be switching back to the old brand as soon as stores open tomorrow morning because he's honestly stinking up the entire house. Otherwise, it seems like a great food.

Great deal, sensitive dog approved, shiny fur coat!
My dog loves this food! She had been eating blue Buffalo for years and had food allergies and a sensitive stomach. after I received the food, I realized that I really hope my dog likes it because you get a ton of food it's a pretty large amount. Luckily, my dog is excited to eat it, and has healthy Doo doos after. Transitioning her to this food was easy after 2 days. Will be by in again as it is a great food for the ingredients in the price and my dog seems to like it. Update since original review: this is our 3rd or 4th order of WAG food, and her fur coat is SHINY!! I've never seen her fur coat so shiny before. She looks beautiful it's got to be the food! I added pics of her fur so people can see.the shine coming off her fur. It looks healthy!

The right formula for my dog’s tummy
I adopted a rescue about four years ago, and I’d struggled to find her the right kind of dog food. Every brand I tried, she would periodically stop eating, and about every six weeks I would have to switch her to a boiled chicken and rice diet for her G.I. issues. I must’ve tried over a half dozen different brands of dog food, with similar results. Then I gave Amazon’s Wag brand a try. Wowowow!! Not only did she love the turkey flavor, but her G.I. issues cleared up, and she no longer has accidents in the house overnight. I’m so grateful to have found a dog food that she clearly enjoys eating AND works for her G.I.

Didn't Work for Us
I bought two varieties of the WAG dog food some time back. I wanted to give it a try. I tend to be satisfied with a lot of the Amazon brand products and liked the price, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Listen, my dogs will eat almost anything, but I opted not to let them near these two products. I purchased the full size of one flavor and the trial size of another. The problem was that they both had bad odors. I don't know if there was some singular explanation for it, but since they have a guarantee for it, I called and told them about the intense, unpleasant odor. I haven't had such a smell come from dog food in many years. It was unacceptable, so I took the refund and kept my dogs away. This has now been many months ago, so maybe they've worked out the issue, but this was my negative experience from the purchases I made.
