Good size bag but tiny zipper

Got this as gift for a Disney fan at my child's school. The bag is a roomy size (able to fit a small Disney stuffie keychain along with some stationary supplies inside) and definitely a cute design like in the description. However, I question its durability; the zipper is super tiny (smaller than my fingertip) and looks delicate, so I can't imagine it'll last long term.
