The build and internal mechanism of the winders is flimsy at best and it will take just one overwinding to either break or jam them. Recommend adult supervision so the kids don't immediately break them trying to unjam them — but they will find a way to break them eventually, just a matter of time.Overall: A cheap, ok set of party toys but don't realistically expect them to last for more than a few days... if not hours.

We liked the use. Some kids won't be able to screw it on to work. It's a cute idea to shoot it like a toy gun.

You insert the top on the nose of the gun and turn the top counterclockwise to wind it up. Pulling the trigger with the top facing down, releases the top which lights up while spinning and looks cool. I read reviews on the lack of quality of the product, and mine worked flawlessly. Our kids that will play with this item are old enough to be shown one time how it works, and they will get it. For the price, this is a cute gift for giveaways or prizes at a party. Just a note, the ad shows different color products, but all three of mine were the same color.

My sisters kids really get a kick out of these, they are fun to play with but will not last forever, just like your child they will grow old and not want to play as much any more. Kinda sad when you think about it. But yeah these spinners are great, for the time being

The media could not be loaded. If you just look at how well this toy works then it's great. As far as it's easy to use, and that it lights up while spinning is so cool. I played with one for a good amount of time and I didn't have any issues with is not being durable, in fact it seems to be made well. These are an inexpensive toy that a child would enjoy. BUT here is the problem, parents are going to have a problem with it being in the shape of a gun. The makers need to relook at this. We live in an time that many people will say absolutely NO, on this toy because of this, for good reason.

Not at all the colors shown. Does launch, spin, and light up as expected. More suitable for kids who are a bit older. Still fun to launch & watch.

I thought this was a nice idea and a good incentive for kids. However, the tops lit up the first time I used them and never again. They are hard to get to spin off the gun. Disappointed in this toy.

These were a gift for the (still young) older siblings after the birth of their new brother. As the Grandpa, I didn't want the other kids to feel left out when the new baby came.That said, these toys helped the plan proceed, at a low cost.The reports from the 4 and 6 year olds are they they like them. Sometimes, they didn't light up or whatever, and so this became a teachable moment in persistence. After an attempt or two, they work again, so far.Mostly, they are as advertised, and will fill the role for kids who are old enough to no longer be entertained by the box. This is an $8 item, our lives are at least $12 better, though I am NOT an Economist.If you have $8-$10 expectations, these will fit the bill.
