Especially to those who wish to learn colloquial conversation, the Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English 6th edition will help them get that by highlighting the equivalent of written phrases and words in boxes called "register", which explain what would be said in a day-to-day informal conversation.I love that dictionary so much!
