Creative Haven Art Nouveau Mandalas Coloring Book

Have really enjoyed colouring this book. Some of the party's of the designs are very small do not so easy with alcohol pens but still very satisfying.Paper quality is good but will need something in between if you use pens add they can bleed through. I just use a page of photo paper.

I love colouring mandalas and I also like Art Noveau, so this initially was a no-brainer for me. It is a standard Creative Haven book with single sided pages - perforated so they are easy to detach [I wish more publishers would do this option]. I coloured in 2 of them the evening I received the book, there is just one mandala to each crisp white page.In fact on a more thorough look through a few days later I have decided this is not as great as I first thought. Many of the pictures are lines for you to use a fineliner or gel pen to fill in with big gaps inbetween meant to resemble things like the Mackintosh flowers, but they miss the mark and become very simple images - almost a sketch as opposed to a drawing. I have decided to give this book to the local jumble sale - somebody will enjoy colouring this book it was just not for me - sad really as I really wanted to like it.

Same as the snowflake book. Brilliant. Second time of buying it. Highly recommend.

I ordered this book, as i'd had some samples from Dover Books that I liked. The patterns are delicate and require a sharp point (felt, pencil or gel). Not suitable for broad edged colouring tools, but enjoyable.

Another great book for me from Creative Haven. Going to order this for my daughter as an extra Christmas present

Really good quality paper and lovely designs. I recommend buying it as a gift or for yourself.

Something else to keep me busy, would recommend.
