Amazing product. I can’t recommend it enough. It took a little bit to get used to but once I figured it out I can honestly say it’s a game changer for me. It makes painting easier because I don’t have to worry about wasting extra paint. As long as the sponge is wet, I can place it in the fridge afterwards and get back to my painting when I’m ready. It’s fantastic!

Gouache and Acrylic Paint are expensive to use for hobbyist (and professionals), they dry on the plate or palette. I also use it for watercolors when I want liquid paint and not my dried half pans. This is my second purchase. I perfer the smaller tray over their larger version for space reasons. Simple concept, a sponge and special paper when moist will keep gouache or acrylic paint moist. The tight-fitting cover will prevent air from drying out the paint. It will give you a few days of extra painting. Amazon sells refill sponges and refill sheets. End of story.

This is my second. I was a little disappointed in myself because I did not read the size, so it was smaller than I expected. My first one was HUGE!!! But that was my fault not the fault of the company and in no way negates the fact that this is a great wet palette system. I love that it seals airtight and keeps my paints fresh... I use heavy body professional grade acrylics. I would just caution you to read the size and select the right size one for you. I would have preferred the larger one but this one is great.

This product works well. I'm wishing there was something else I could use instead of the paper that goes in it that you have to reorder when you run out. Also, I left my paints in there too long and the next time I opened it, it has a moldy smell, I am guessing from the sponge, but the paint was still usable, so that's something.

This absolutely keeps your acrylic paint wet for days... I'm going on 13 days now and the blobs of paint are still fresh and perfect. This is a great way to make a color blend and keep it fresh throughout the painting process without having to rush. I hate wasting paint and this is well worth the money to save the paint! Get it!

Love the palette size! Easy to use and open and seal! (This smaller size much easier to seal.) The performance excellent even if I might not be able to get back to painting several days. Everything you need is included to start painting: Palette paper and sponge. The sturdiness of palette is good quality plastic material.

These palettes function exactly as is advertised and for the cost he quality is great. The apron is small, more child size and made of an odd woven material, so our granddaughter can use it for finger painting coverup. I’m able keep my paints wet for weeks at a time by storing these in the fridge when not using them. I bought this combination kit to have the extra sponges and papers then separately bought an additional palette the same size. The second one came with one sponge and five sheets of the sta-wer paper. I already have the larger sta-wet palettes but bought the two smaller ones as this size is perfect to carry in my tote when traveling between locations. I will purchase these palettes again when these wear out, happily I think it will be a long time!

Unlike the larger Masterson palettes this one is made of cheap plastic. Not happy with the quality.

Great Product! In my opinion the best sta-wet palette. The sponge quality is superior, a lot of refill for every sheet, sponge etc. I can use my paints for 48 hours! Plus the seller sent me so quickly that I received before Christmas! Awesome!
