Ovation Deluxe Schooler Helmet (Black, X-Small/Small)

I have bought two of these throughout the years. The fit is very nice. It does have an adjustable back which helps with the fit. The chin strap is also adjustable. I like that the cushioning on the inside can be taken out and washed. Riding in the summer can cause some sweat on the cushioning. The helmet has a nice appearance. The price of the helmet I find to be very appropriate. I will continue to but this helmet in the future.

This is my second purchase of an Ovation helmet. I appreciate the sizing dial in the back. They are well made helmets that look good and fit well, nothing fancy, just a solid helmet at a reasonable price.

Bought this for working on horses. Good quality with adjustable strap and hat sizing. Durable and light weight!

For the price in comparison to other “beginner” helmets it is worth it in my opinion. There are way better helmets out there however the prices are higher. If you are just starting to ride I would recommend this for the price and quality. It does have the adjustable chinstrap and knob in the back of the helmet. It’s super comfortable and there is padding on the inside as well as a breathable mesh. It looks sleek and I personally like it. I have not work this specific helmet during riding yet, however it is more comfortable than the one I currently use.

I purchased this for my son. He’s 4 and started taking horseback riding lessons. I searched for a good helmet and this came up on multiple lists, now I see why. The helmet is comfortable, durable, and most importantly he can buckle/unbuckle it on his own. Building his confidence before getting on a giant animal was a huge plus I didn’t even consider. He’s been riding for about 4 months now and his helmet still looks new. It comes with a thin, fabric cover/case that doesn’t make it bulky or difficult to carry. I definitely recommend this helmet for anyone considering riding lessons.
