Dolce Rocks!
Dolce is the best. His books are amazing. He is also very accessible. He really works hard to supplement the books which makes this the cheapest weight loss program you can buy. He answers questions every week on Twitter and often on his regular, free, podcast. He also has really helpful YouTube videos. He is the guy fighters go to when their career is almost over because they can't make weight. What more can you say?

Dolce Knows!!
There is so much positive and motivational stuff in here and oh yeah there is a kick a$$ 3 week program too. Lol but honestly Mike Dolce has changed my life even before this book by listening to his pod cast he has helped me change my mindset and helped me lose 45 lbs. All of his content and especially 3W2S is so easy to understand and makes lliving healthy easy and a must.

What this book is....(and is not)
I'm a big Dolce fan, not from his TV appearances or anything, but I listen to his podcast religiously. He's sharp, experienced and best of all, throws the political correct BS out the window.I got this book to see what it was all about, aND as an ex wrestler it gave me flashacks to doing jumping jacks in a rubber suit in a sauna while spitting chewing tobacco to make weight.I only wish I had access to this info when I needed to cut weight. If you'really a weight class athlete or want to look cut for a certain date, event, etc, this book is quite impressive. Mike is not reinventing the wheel here but his methods challenge the old beat up methods of cutting.This book is meant for the short term but given the popularity of these "30 day" type programs that promise to pack on muscle and burn all the fat off your body, it's very important to not include this book in the same category.This book WILL NOT make you bigger, it will not pack on muscle, heck it wont even tell you what to do after your event is over (I think Living Lean takes that in). It will however take a much less painful approach to regulating how much water your body retains, which is a very significant factor between looking good and looking lean and dry (shredded).I'm going to start the 30 days and will edit my review when I finish it up.

Excellent straightforward info
This book is everything you need to know about optimizing your health and performance with lifestyle choices, from a man who has been there and done that for 3 decades. It's short, and that's the most impressive thing about this very impressive book.

My main reason for purchasing this book is to find out the plan that Mike Dolce proposes for his MMA athletes to make weight for their matches. I first found out about Mike Dolce by searching Youtube for different plans to lose water weight for boxing matches and then re-hydrate back to my normal weight. I will link the youtube video below that made me want to purchase this book. The book contains other useful resources, such as healthy meal plans other resources that I found useful. What made me want to give this book a 3 star review instead of a 5 star review is that for the water cut that mentions in the book, which also states that Thiago Alves, UFC Fighter, used to make weight while he was with Mike Dolce involves diuretics and protein powders. In Mike Dolce's interview with London Real (the youtube video I watched), Mike Dolce said that he is against pills, powders and potions and that everything in his plan for fighters is natural. I do believe that his plan works for cutting weight, but based on the way he promoted his book in this youtube video I watched, I was expecting something different that didn't involve any use of pills or powders.Link to London Real interview: [...]

Perfect book!
This book was PERFECT for my weight cut! I had a competition for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and had put on some extra weight as well over the winter. I needed something to lose the weight to be in the right weight class, and I also wanted to keep the weight off. This book helped me drop 15lbs, and I was on weight, actually a pound under the day of my competition.I would just warn women looking to use this, the book and the weight cut described in the book is based off a male, who is almost 200lbs. I did have to modify some of the food, and when I did the hot tub and treadmill water weight drop I did not lose nearly as much as the male described in the book. I assume this is because I am a female, who also was not able to do 2 workouts, intense workouts twice a day.I got the results I was looking for and I am currently using it again to drop weight into a different weight class for an August competition and so far it's working just great as before!

THIS DIET IS AMAZING!!!
I followed the Original Dulce Diet workout and meal plan in this book and felt the GREATEST I HAVE EVER FELT FOR A CUT IN MY LIFE. I went from my walking weight at 190 pounds to my fighting weight at 160 pounds weighing in at 156.7 day before the action. Im not going to lie and say it felt great the entire cut but I DIDNT REALLY FEEL LIKE I WAS CUTTING UNTIL 2 DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIGHT. In those days is really when the water consumption started getting to me and joints started locking up. I would recommend this diet to ANYONE and consistently do. Even for general weight loss I would say just following week 1 of the diet and working out consistently would have you dropping weight week by week. I got suckered again
I am an avid fan of the UFC and see Dolce all over in the MMA world. I see his books (this and living lean) and I say hey, if he can get these UFC fighters to drop weight easily - his advice ought to do even better for a Joe Shmoe like me!The books are really just a compilation of his 'clients' bragging about results and then Dolce giving his side of the story to brag himself up. Wow you were a lifter? Cool. Wow you were a fighter? Neat.How about give me some science and real diet information. Pretty big waste of my time and money. The books are so short that it only wastes about an hour but still.I will summarize the book.. Dolce loves to hear how great he is and recommends you eat healthy by eating as natural as possible? Any questions? Oh yeah! He used to deadlift a lot too.

Awesome read
Been following Mike for sometime now on social media and have decided to put my money where my mouth is and start living it not just dreaming about it, highly recommended for anyone else on the fence!

Solid meal plan, the rest is just useless filling
Nearly half of the book are experiences from other people, send in via email. Meal plan is complete, still no in depth about why and what kind of food.If you want a working mealplan (which is solid) topped with a lot of useless filling it's a good choice. If you are interested in a scientific approach backed up with solid facts/studies etc you better give it a pass.

Really a life changer
The first book i bought from Mike Dolce was the book 3 weeks to shredded book an amazing book. Just a bit about the Author Mike Dolce and what he stands for. Mike Dolce is an amazing, Motivating, clever, honest guy that is not looking to sell his book just for the money. He really cares about all of us, and want to help us with the best of his abilities. Mike Dolce really changed my way of life. How i eat, train, think and my view upon this world as a whole. I really love Mike Dolce for what he is doing for us guys out there. He is an truly inspiring person that i look up to. I listen to all of his podcasts that's full of knowledge, not only nutrition wise but also overall as a human being. He is not just a ordinary nutrition guru, but what he stands for is a life style, its not about just eating healthy for a short period of time, its a lifestyle that Mike Dolce is trying to convey to us. That we should eat healthy all the time and replace the junk out with earth grown nutrients.Lets get to the review of this book. The book is basically about how to get shredded in 3 weeks, he tells how he did it in 3 weeks and list which times to eat and what to eat exactly to the point. Its an truly inspiring book that have helped me cut the weight and get shredded. One thing guys this book is not a book on how to lose weight permanently, you should follow his overall diet and embrace it as a lifestyle. What i am trying to say is after these 3 weeks doesn't mean you will stay lean all the time, you have to stay strict on your diet too. Finally Guys go and listen to his podcast i really recommend it.

Best weight-cut book ever!!
Absolutely a must have for everyone!! Changed my life and my perspective on how a weight cut should be approached! Mike Dolce is the man on weight-cuts! Great great great book!
