I'm using it inside a Console Vault. I primarily use it in the event that I need to secure a gun in my vehicle, and I don't want my gun bouncing around if I happen to forget to retrieve it after returning to my vehicle. I have a few different handguns ranging from a subcompact 1911-style to a full-size 1911 and they all fit well in the holster. The combo of a holster and magnet seems way more secure than a magnet alone. In my opinion, it's a little expensive for what it is, but it does seem pretty durable and like I said it works with a variety of guns. I had to fabricate a spacer between the holster and the side of the Console Vault so that I could get a good grip on the gun, but that was mostly due to the lip at the top of the vault.

Just installed great quality easy to install

Although this holster is working well after i modified it the plastic was releasing the magazine. So i had to make a small modification so it would not bump it when in the holster. Overall a pretty good product

Great mount hold my clock no problem did not drill just used the double sided tape provided

Great product, 1/2 the price of others

This is very powerful magnet that you can attach anywhere in your car (or on the wall, under a table, etc.) with two small screws. It will solidly hold your firearm in place without budging. I placed mine down by my right leg to the lower console. Make sure you know where your airbags are if you choose to mount it under your steering wheel. All it takes to release your weapon is a tug and it’s in your hand. To replace it, just let the magnet take it. A very good purchase.

You'll need to screw it in or get better double sided tape. Works for Sig and 1911.
