It is very difficult to get Vitamin D levels into a healthy range when it is freezing outside and you spend half the year indoors. Mine was terribly low for a long time (below 29), and I knew that was not ideal with all of the viruses and colds I was encountering. I confess that I first saw Micro Ingredients D3+K2 on Social Media, so I was skeptical. But, it was inexpensive and small (aka easy to swallow), so I thought I would give it a try! Well, it has been more than 300 days since my first purchase (I know that because there are 300 servings per package!! Told you it was inexpensive:-)) I felt great this past cold and flu season (even when family members were under the weather). I was a little bit concerned about the dosage being high, but no need for that. When I had my labs re-tested, my Vitamin D level was at 65. Many doctors say that it should be above 50 for immune health, and I can say that this N of 1 experiment proved that to be true. One of my best friends was constantly sick, and I told her about this product. She started taking it in November, and this was her best winter in years from a health standpoint. Why did you pick this product vs others?:What can I say, it is a vitamin supplement. I have been taking this brand for the past two years since my lab work show my vitamin D levels were very low. After taking this brand for about 9 month my next labs results were great and the next one a year later was the same. Hope this helps.

Giving this 4 stars because it WORKS, but it is WAY too much vitamin D for the average human. Moral of the story is, ask your doctor before taking a supplement. I didn't. My vitamin D was low on lab work last year and I just started this without asking. A year later my vitamin D is WAY too high! So I was advised to stop taking all supplements with vitamin D (only this one) and recheck in a month. Still high, but coming down slowly. It's not a benign thing, so be careful. I have been reading on what is appropriate, and it's a lot less than this, by half or more! Should have done my research and now most of this is going in the trash. You do get a lot for the money though! And they do make lower doses, so I'd definitely say if you need a supplement, this is good quality and bioavailable. Just try a lower dose unless your doctor says otherwise!

Just the right amount of vitamin D (2000 IU) with K2 to help absorb. Take it with a fatty food like yogurt for even better absorption according to research. Nice smell of coconut when taking it. Pill is noticeably small, which is also great. Having it in a pouch is better for the environment vs a bottle for anyone who cares. The page even says 'eliminates 90% of plastic used from bottles' and 'rescues 10,000+ trees per year.'

These are excellent with 0 fillers, high, effective dosage, great quality and a generous amount of 180 soft gels!! Grest price, I have taken whole package over last couple of months and well impressed! Especially in the winter I don't get enough sun for the Vitamin D3 hormone, so these are essential for me!! The K2 included, works synergistically with the D3!! Love these!!
