Fabulous Herbs!
I saw these herbs on The Nate Show as being one of the top 10 things you should have in the kitchen. I totally agree - they are fantastic! I've used them in spaghetti, which is my favorite so far. I've also tried them on chicken, on pizza, and on fish. I think it enhances the flavor of the meal. Next time I purchase I will get the larger size- the crock is very cute! Highly recommend these fabulous herbs!

Cute Crock But ...
The crock is cute, even though the writing on it these days is on a clear sticker adhered to the crock instead of on the crock itself. The 11 ounce version of their crock is hefty and spectacular. It's the size of a small cooking pot.The thing is though that you are better off keeping the herbs in a zip-seal plastic bag with all the air squeezed out of it. The herbs in the crock are nowhere near as fragrant a month later as when you first unseal the crock, even if you keep the lid on in between uses. You want to keep them in a zip-seal bag and then rolled as tight as possible before resealing to get as much air out as possible, and then store in a cool, dark place. For this reason you want to buy in small quantities, not the 11 ounce version, no matter how attractive (unless you want to store your rolled zip-seal bag in it). I'd skip this size crock and just buy the refill box for this reason. Anysetiers de Roy Herbes de Provence RefillAs far as flavor and aroma, this is head and shoulders the best blend of herbes de Provence you will find. I've tried a few. Even if they're the same classic blend of thyme, savory, basil, fennel, and lavender (as they should be to be called herbes de Provence), they don't smell or taste as good as this particular brand. This is still the one to beat. I highly recommend it without reservation, but the days of storing it in crocks, though cute, have gone. These aren't inexpensive. Make the most of them by getting all that air out and sealing them in plastic.Oh, and by the way, despite how it's spelled for this product, the correct way is Herbes de Provence or Herbs of Provence, not Herbs de Provence. The Herbs part should have an "e" before the "s" for the French spelling.

Taste is very good!
Excellent taste that enhances salads and love on broiled chicken! It’s a little bit expensive for the amount you get in the small tin but I love so much that I still buy!

Best Herbs de PRovence available on the Market
Unless you make your own, this is the best mix of Herbs de Provence you will find. Always look for this brand - in crocks or boxes. The crock is a nice and attractive way to store it (the herbs inside are in a plastic back so they stay fresh). Makes a great gift for serious chefs! Please note that there are several sizes of crocks that have been available on Amazon. Be sure you pay attention to which size you get, but the prices are reasonable on all of them.

Fancy little crock
I suppose you are really paying for the crock since 1 oz of dried herbs shouldn't cost this much, but it is a fancy little crock and one that you can leave out on your counter instead of the cabinet. I use it in my confit and cassoulet and also with making co qu vin. You can get this separately as base herbs such as thyme, basil, fennel and savory( the latter may be a bit more difficult to acquire) for less and make it yourself.Overall, I am happy with my purchase and will be willing to spend another $15 on the cute little corck pot as gifts or for myself.

Overpriced
Spice is fine, but I was very disappointed in the price to value reward. It's a very small container and for $20 I expected more. My bad. I could have purchased more of this spice at World Market for $2 (and I have). Shipping and all was fine. It's just priced much too high for what I received. Should have done my homework on this one.

Not as described
This products listing did not have lavender in the ingredient list. I purchased it purposely because of that fact. When the product was received, lavender was listed on the container as one of the ingredients. If the description had been accurate, I would not have purchased this product.

Delicious herbs in a really nice container
I love this mix of herbs! They taste and smell very fresh, and the little ceramic pot that they are in is cute enough to leave out on your counter - which is convenient because I use these herbs in SOMETHING nearly every day. I think this is a great bargain for the price and I will definitely reorder.
