Poor design. The flammable square to be placed in the lantern and lit is very heavy, weighing the lantern down until the fuel burns for many, many minutes. The lanterns did not have enough lift from the hot air produced by the flame until the entire paper lantern had been blackened from soot and was nearly on fire itself. These did not work well or look pretty rising to the sky like others purchased elsewhere have previously. I would not purchase these again, nor would I recommend them to anyone. These were very disappointing.
