FITTEST Universal Camera Mount Thumb Grip MZ-001 for Nikon Canon Fujifilm X-E1

Die Fuji X-Pro1 liegt ja gut in der Hand, griffig ist sie aber nicht. Habe also diesen Griff bestellt. Leider musste ich ihn wieder zurück senden, da der immer wieder aus dem Blitzschuh fiel bzw rutschte. Macht also wenig Sinn.

Prodotto di ottima fattura. Calza perfettamente sulla Fuji X-E1 lasciando tasti e ghiere completamente utilizzabili, aumentando la presa non sporgendo in maniera eccessiva dal profilo della macchina fotografica. Unico neo, ho dovuto spessorare con alcuni pezzetti di nastro isolante per bloccarlo saldamente alla slitta, ma la ritengo una soluzione migliore che bloccarlo con una vite, come su altri prodotti, sia per la praticità nel metterlo e toglierlo che per proteggere i contatti a caldo della slitta.

I bought this after carefully reading lots of reviews and trying to look at photographs in detail. I was trying to see the shape and various contours hoping that they would all miss the buttons on my camera, the Fuji X-E2. It doesn't help that many product pictures mix up various models and pictures. You will see that many thumb grips appear short and chunky, protruding out to the back and easily caught on clothing etc. This product, the MX-001 appeared to fit the right length and shape. I wanted something that would do the same job as a Lensmate or Thumbs Up but much cheaper. The Lensmate I bought for my X100 was perfect but that required the easily rotating dials to be protected by the carefully moulded grip. The X-E2 has more torque on the dials so no need for quite the same although this FITTEST model provides a straight length that guards against accidental turning. The Lensmate is also incredibly expensive and requires importing from the US. I'm pleased to say this FITTEST thumb grip fits perfectly. The length is just right and all the buttons are accessable. The black model also matches my black XE2 well. The only downside which I sort of expected in advance due to reading reviews and seeing a similar sister product, is that the fit in the hot shoe isn't quite tight enough. A bit of black tape solves this, and I'd rather do that than have the grub screw on some thumb grips. The Lensmate on my X100 is a very snug fit, probably the best to avoid being lost, but it's also a pain (literally) to get it out if you want to use an external flash. Overall, it's good for the money and probably the best without paying about £60-70.

Acheté pour le mettre sur mon Fuji X100s. Vraimentbof : Une fois en place il améliore grandement la prise en main. Il gêne l'accès à un des boutons du X100s. Il s'enlève aisément de son emplacement tout seul ... Domage.

Well made but a bit short for an Xpro-1 and on an X10 the rib behind thumb rest rubs/scores the mode dial.
