I absolutely will not start an astro imaging session without a bahtinov focusing mask. It helps me get pinpoint precision on my focus and I have routinely been able to easily get my targets into sharp focus. I was worried about the thickness as it seems a bit fragile, but it has held up nearly for nearly a full season.If you have a telescope and do astro imaging, you need a bahtinov mask, and this one works nicely.
