Hiking Canyonlands and Arches National Parks: A Guide To More Than 60 Great Hikes (Falcon Guides)

I have used the Falcon guides books for all the national parks in Utah, as well as the Tetons in Idaho/Wyoming. This one is like many of the others, a great guide for hikes. I just wish there were a few things which seem like they would be quite easy to add. A map of the overall park (not just the hiking sub areas). This seems like a no brainer and they must be omitting it in order to not undercut the associated full map sales. And some of the hikes really need more details profiles and milestone markers versus just text. It does have a huge number of hikes in it, so I get there's only so much space. But it's a pretty glaring shortcoming in an otherwise great book.

I'm a big fan of Falcon Guides and have used them for a number of National Park trips. This one is no different--great descriptions and very informative.
