I know once I go back to the "Speak Polish" book, I may feel lost looking at the spelling of words and the alphabet, but this CD set gives me hope that I can truly learn how to speak Polish. Of all the "learn to speak Polish" books and CDs I have bought so far (at least 4 different ones), this by far is showing me I can learn to speak Polish. I have listened to the first CD (Track 1) a few times and can now actually remember the phrases and what they mean in English and how to say them in Polish. I listened to Track 2 and practiced a bit, but when back to the first track (or lesson). I know once I go back to the "Speak Polish" book, I may feel lost looking at the spelling of words and the alphabet, but this CD set gives me hope that I can truly learn how to speak Polish.

I bought the CDs and also use the app. I am loving learning a new language with this tool.

20 minutes a day
Good to get jump-started into a very difficult language like Polish. It teaches basic sentences with a stress on subtleties that enable understanding some simple the answers. Definitively it is not sufficient to run a complete conversation, but I am glad I went through this course before my trip to Poland. The course works by listening and repeating. There are pauses in the audio track for repeating each sentence. It is very nice to have it in the Mp3 player and listen to it while doing workout. Also, the audio is exceptionally clear and the difficulty is slowly increasing across the units. it is rewarding to listen back to the previous units and realize how much has been learned.

Best Polish course i have found.
Buy this one instead of badic polish. The first 8 cds are the basic polish course. Each cd lasts for approx 30 mins and with all of the repetition; i have found that i am retaining what i am learnig. My wife is Polish and has confirmed the acuracy of the course. I have tried a number of other courses and this is by fr the best for me. However; everyone has a preferred learning method so it may not suit everyone.

Disapponting: Too simple and repetitive
It is good to learn a few words and phrases, but does not go in any depth of the language. The fact that there is no text whatsoever makes learning more difficult.
