Rugged Ridge | Light Bar, Windshield Mounted, Textured Black | 11232.21 | Fits 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK

Pretty awesome bar. Its very rugged looking and comes pre-drilled to run wires into the actual bar. The holes already come with rubber grommets to help stop too much water from going into the holes. Its pretty straight forward to install but the instructions are not particularly clear. This may be obvious to other people who have bought this but I didn't realize that you need to remove the stock windshield bracket. I tried to install this on top and it wouldn't line up. Once I removed the stock brackets it went on quite smooth. I would definitely recommend you get a second person to help and that you use blue tape around the install area so you don't scratch up your paint as you put this thing in position. I modded mine simply because I wanted a certain look but this bar looks great on its own.

I wanted to move from the LED bar to the round lights. I found this light bar setup and it looked really sharp. Setup was pretty easy. One thing though, don't fully tighten down the lower parts of the bar that the upper part is slid on to. That gives you a little play which allows the light bar to be on easier. The wire runs are kind of small, but that's an opinion. I know little about running wires so it may be just right for you.

This is the best light bar I've come across but it still has some issues:1 - The wiring holes are very small. The grommets aren't worth anything that go in them and without the grommets the edges are extremely sharp. So much so that they stripped all the insulation off my wires and made it a pain to get all set up. This could be better mitigated by sending multiple grommets for different wire sizes and drilling and reaming the holes.2 - The instructions could be a little clearer as to wire routing. The wire runs through the corner of the windshield hinge. I had to try this 3 times to figure it out but finally did get it and it fit well.Overall a great looking light bar and with some work it's a great fit. The price is right as well.

Shipped fast. Perfect fit. Holds five 6 inch Apollo Pros with plenty of room for bigger if you wanted. Very sturdy. Stops wind from hitting the hardtop that had a whistle so I can imagine how it will help a soft top. The holes and grommets could be a little bigger, you'll have splice any wiring harness your lights came with as the connections won't fit through the holes. Other than that this bar is perfect and I can't recommend it enough. I'm just your average off-road Jeeper and to be this blown away by a bar isn't common. I knew when I bought my Jeep I wanted to go with a more classic round light look than a long led light bar, and Rugged Ridge nailed it with this thing.

The light bar was nicely packaged. Easy to install. Although I used larger cables for old school lights, I was able to use the pre-drilled holes as guides. I would highly recommend to anyone who is going for that old school look!!

Really great bar had pre drilled holes for running wire through tubing made it really clean looking finish is excellent. Fit was a little bit off but with a little persuasion it went on with no issues.

I bought it to use as the front half of a rack for kayaks. Covered it in pipe insulation. Works pretty good. Depending on the wind direction or some mysterious alignment of the planets I either have a fair amount of annoying wind noise or none at all. Usually only at speeds above 45. Soft top. In case any of you are wondering I use a "Truck Bed Extender" that plugs into the hitch receiver, but flipped 90 degrees so the long part is going up instead of back. Very inexpensive solution that is very solid. Regardless, the light bar fit to the vehicle is good, it was easy to install, and the finish seems reasonably durable. Once I had the top tube installed I found that positioning the windshield brackets in the proper place from the side and tightening those bolts before the front bolts was necessary. If you tighten the front bolts it pushes the bracket back so that fitment at the door gap is poor.
