We initially tried a floor lamp for our bedside lamps. BUT dimming settings did not allow lights to be lowered to 10% light level.These lights are almost perfect. The night setting works great.If I was to criticize them at all I would recommend that the two setting buttons for reading/computer should be adjustable and memorized. Both these settings are very bright, so allowing user to adjust them and save to memory to desired level would be a great perk.Otherwise GREAT lights.

My old fluorescent tube lamp gave up the ghost and I selected the LEPOWER-TEC LED Desk Lamp as a replacement I was leery though, of how stable it would be. The base weight, to my surprise, was quite hefty compared to what it had to support (the gooseneck and LED fixture). I have the base sitting on the edge of our island bar and just a gentle bend in the gooseneck to make the LED fixture sit parallel to the floor and overhang just enough to be right above and just off to the right of my head when I'm seated in my recliner. The lamp is very stable used like this.** Keep in mind though, I was NOT trying to see what the limits of the gooseneck extension could be and still have the base support its weight.I also was surprised by the brightness and throw of the LED panel. It far exceeds what I had been accustomed to with my old lamp. The dimming slide is very responsive and can be dimmed from full intensity to a nightlight setting but NOT OFF!Because this is a touch sensitive control base, you need to see where you are putting your fingers to control things like the tone of the light or even turning it off and on!. In my case, I can't place my base where I can see it from my seated position but I can reach it and touch it blindly with my right hand.Fortunately, the "nightlight" control is an actual button, and you can also feel a groove for the vertical slide location controlling the brightness as well. This lets me turn it off and on by feeling the nightlight button and clicking it 'on' and then clicking the button a second time to turn the lamp 'off'. Then to turn it on, I just click the nightlight button 'on' and then run my finger up and down the vertical brightness groove to the desired setting and let it go. No need to see the pane for the basics!Overall this lamp is better than I was anticipating and I would recommend this as a good purchase especially for a desktop application.

This lamp is very bright, brightest one I have seen yet. But you can vary the color AND brightness of the light. For example, it has a setting for reading that is softer and more yellow (which is the opposite of what I need for reading at my age). I think there are 2 color changes and 3 brightness levels . . . or maybe the other way around. Anyway, it's versatile. And it's tall! Taller than the one it replaced. It is very balanced and looks like it is very sturdy. The gooseneck works very smoothly and is real flexible. Love this lamp!

I didn’t give it 5 stars because the bendable arm is a little old fashioned. Because it plugs in to the outlet the Light is brighter than a USB sources.

If I could, I would give this a 10 star rating. It's the height I've been looking for...it was super duper easy to assemble, and you can't beat the price. I love that I can adjust the brightness to suit my fancy. I'm extremely pleased with the lamp and highly recommend it.

I was looking for a portable lamp to take on trips with me. Little did I realize how much I would end up loving this desk lamp. It's easy to put together, so if I want to take it apart to pack in my suitcase, reassembly is super easy. It's actually compact enough you don't have to take it apart to pack with you, depending upon your packing space. I really love the gooseneck to redirect light where I want it. The lighting can be programmed for reading, or brighter for work projects, and it has a nightlight. It has a light slide so you can raise or lower the brightness. It's sturdy, lightweight, and it's design will fit most decors without being obtrusive.

This desk lamp is just great. Gives lots of light, has dimmers for computer, night time and different adjustments for how bright or dim you want the light. Great lamp.

Love this lamp! Sturdy and flexible. Chic and high end looking on my desk. The light modes are all lovely and I love the look way it turns on. First thing I do before working is turn it on and it always makes me happy
