Stay very cold for long periods of time.
These are very good quality and remain frozen for long periods of the time. I bought them for a shoulder surgery, but they are large enough to also use for back surgery. I have not yet used them heated in the microwave.

Stays cold longer than most
Love this ice pack! It’s a little cold at first but it stays cold for a long time. Works great. We have 2 big ones and 2 small ones

Just what I needed.
This is a great size and shape. Stays cold (or hot) for about as long as you'd expect. I like the material used, it is very smooth. Have used it a lot and it will continue to be used frequently!

Oh my Gosh, this ice pack beats any I have purchased by a thousand %!! No lie, it’s big, it has the best set up to keep it on my body perfectly. Adjusts to all sizes I imagine! I love love it so much I am buying a second one right now be as sometimes I forget to put it back in the freezer, my bad!!! This is comfortable, the Velcro straps are strong and hold great! Awesome value !!!

Offered Good Relief for the Ouchies.
The belt fits perfectly and securely around my waist and conforms to my lower back. The gel pack only took 30 minutes in the freezer to get sufficiently cold and stayed at the same temperature for quite some time afterwards. This has proven very useful for those times I've overdone it at the gym or just the lingering middle-age aches that sometimes accompanies the simple act of waking up in the morning. I've not tried it on any other area than my lower back so far and only used the cold; not testing heating it up. But I will update my evaluation if necessary in the future. For quick, temporary relief I would recommend this product.
