Takane & Hana, Vol. 1

Hilarious and fun read
Hilarious. This had me laughing out loud. I live their relationship and although this is an age gap there doesn’t seem to be a power dynamic. They add to each other which is nice. Definitely recommend

Had me giggling
So, usually in the mangas I have read the two protagonists are very opposite, brooding, hyper, leader, follower, teacher, student. However this was different, they are both strong willed, feisty, stubborn, and I loved it! Yes they have different backgrounds, status, but the way neither of them would back down and kept pushing each other further was incredible. This is about an engagement meeting between Takane and Hana, however it was meant to be Hanas sister that attended, and so carries on the antics, as they both try to best each other in situations.Liked the art style and will be buying volume 2.

Funny
This is really brilliant shojo manga. What's the best is that the 2 main character are just so funny ...I smiled all the way through as so many funny things were said. The art is great and it's just really laugh a minute .I want to collect them all !

So many LOL moments
Hana needs to take her sister's place in an arrange marriage meeting, but her and Takane, the male partner in the marriage interview, don't get along. It doesn't help that Hana is keeping her identity as a 16-year-old a secret and passing for her sister so that her father doesn't lose his job. However, Takane likes how straightforward she is and how she doesn't fall for him, so the two start a precarious relationship, with Hana's parents support. There were so many scenes that made me laugh so much. I can't wait to see more of Hana and Takane's adventures.

Not for me
This is awful, a 23-year-old going for a 16-year-old and the fact that they ‘fall’ for one another so quickly. I’ve read a lot of manga and was on the search for a new series, this definitely isn’t it.
