I never know what to expect when buying "mixed colors" sight unseen, but I'm happy to say that this set has a great balance of colors with enough variation to create nice custom mixes. I'm always looking for the straight facts, so here they are:- Each strand measures about 6" longI received:- 28 different colors as promised, with no repeats- 3 RED, including burgundy, primary and coral- 4 PINK, ranging from bright hot pink to the palest pastel- 1 ORANGE, hunter safety vest orange- 3 YELLOW, including a buttery tone, two primary yellows and one that matches my highlighter- 4 GREEN, ranging from dark pine to seafoam- 4 BLUE, including sky, robin's egg, navy and true blue- 4 PURPLE, from violet to pastel- 1 EACH: black, brown, grey, whiteA very nice selection, especially if you just want to make a few bracelets at a time. Obviously, this will make many bracelets, but I like than you get a little of a lot of colors without having to invest heavily in the hobby.Be sure to get some elastic at the same time. I started with a full A-Z kit before this, so I incorrectly assumed that I would receive elastic as well.

This is the mother lode of heishi bead hauls. SO many colors, heishi beads for days!! All the colors are very vibrant, good quality material, and they're all strung so you can put them in your bead organizer of choice. Also comes with a nifty reusable flat box you can repurpose for projects in progress, or other craft items.

This is a decent starter set if you're just getting into heishi beads. I'm itching to make something and I've been thinking about getting some heishi beads for awhile now. I'm probably going to make some bracelets or a necklace. This comes with all 28 strands promised and all of the primary colors are included, although yellow is a lighter yellow and not a true bright yellow. I have a small wrist so one strand actually goes all the way around my wrist and you get 28 strands so that's a generous amount of beads. Some of the beads are misshapen and deformed so if you're a serious jewelry maker or need or want them to be all uniform, you may want to pass on these. I'm just playing around with them so I don't mind and I think the value is still good for the price point. With all of the colors, you can combine these into some really fun color combos. The possibilities are endless!

The strands of beads aren't as long as they look in the cover photo but they come in a nice little box and there's a good variety of colors! I'd estimate that the strands are about as long as what you'd get in a big-box craft store, but for a much better price. The quality seems good — I haven't found any broken ones. Definitely a nice assortment for a beginner or someone looking to add to their collection.

This is a great set with a large variety. If you are wanting a big variety of colors that are pre-string to make it easier for stringing onto your own string… This is a great set. However, I make and sell bracelets and the photo for these was really misleading. The strands that you get are not very long. They are not enough for one adult bracelet unless you add other like letters or something. So just something to be mindful of. The quality of the beads are pretty good though. Good value for the price!

These beads are great quality & come in vibrantly bright colors. There are plenty of them to create multiple projects.

These beads are more like rubber/plastic than clay. Fun colors. Definitely not 4000 beads. I received 28 strings and the average number of beads per string is 118, but they are not all the same amount. Also, the sizes of the individual beads are inconsistent, but I think that adds to the variety of this type of project. Was happy to find they came in a storage container, which is of ok quality.
