Black Cocoa Powder, Dutch Processed, Cookies & Cakes, Rich & Decadent (8 Ounce)

I used this to make black velvet cupcakes. The color was perfect! It turned darker as it baked. The flavor was very good and the cupcakes turned out perfectly. This was my fist time using black cocoa powder and I would definitely buy this brand again. The texture/crumb structure was perfect and the flavor is slightly richer than regular Dutch processed cocoa. It also worked much better than just using activated charcoal powder. I don’t know how long the shelf life is but it seems like it will last for a good amount of time. This container was more than enough for a recipe of 14 cupcakes and the frosting too some too. I could easily make a second batch of both the cupcakes and frosting from this size container.

This is super tasty. I used it to make a dark chocolate, or "black velvet" cake and it was the best cake I have ever had. The flavor is amazing, and there wasn't an official texture in the cake or frosting. It mixes in easily, and bakes perfectly, while giving that dark chocolate, almost black color.

Quick is too full of sugar. This is a better alternative for me (with monkfruit sweetener)to avoid diabetes. Makes a great hot cocoa too.

Taste and gives s good black color.

I make chocolate sugar cookies with this and it provides a deep chocolate taste and smell. It mixes in well with the dough, some other brands tend to clump at times and I have not had this problem with this product

Really smaller than I thought tho.

This stuff tasted like oreos (w/o the sugar). Great for cocoa sablee or hot cocoa, or really to replace any cocoa powder. Kind of addicting. I use half this and half the regular kind for hot chocolate. Great value, I have made many mugs and a couple batches of cookies with this and still have half a container. I like the top, easy to sprinkle or use a spoon to measure. Will buy again.
