The XG27UCS was the perfect monitor choice for me, especially for the price! I have a small table so I was worried about the size, BUT the small base is a lifesaver and also has a smartphone holder which I've never seen on a monitor before, as well as a super convenient USB-C charging port. The setup process couldn't have been easier, as no tools were required. While setting it up, I noticed the tripod socket on top of the vertical stand which is perfect for my webcam / lighting setup. Once I had it set up via the Display Port 1.4 option, I couldn't believe how good the quality was. I didn't expect it to be that much clearer than my 1440p 144hz monitor I had before, but it was a game changer. When I loaded up my game, I could INSTANTLY tell not only the quality difference but also the refresh rate. 160hz combined with 4K felt like I was gaming on a NASA computer for the first time ever LOL. Not only were the HDR & ELMB insane, but I felt like I was seeing colors I had never seen before! I also love how you can turn the screen sideways! As tempted as I am to try it for my live stream chat, I can't go back to using my 1440p monitor to game after using this one - the quality, refresh rate, and 1ms response time has me hooked. I couldn't be happier with this purchase!

Gaming it is amazing! However I bought it cause I edit YouTube videos a lot and this is fantastic for editing color wise! I get very true colors using this! It feels very heavy duty not a flimsy plastic monitor frame like you see with lots of other monitors. The stand it comes with is awesome as well it can tilt easily and adjust very easy! I would highly recommend this to any gamer but if you want to do some editing as well highly recommend this as a 4k monitor!

The value proposition for this monitor is that even 'budget' ROG monitors are better than the rest of the budget monitors and thus deserve a price premium. I'm not sold. I bought this to replace an LG 27GR93U that died after 4 weeks which, up until now, was the defacto recommendation in this price/performance range The picture quality is good to great. Factory certified calibration, good dcip3, great srgb, bfi, 4K, 160hz and gsync. All good stuff and honestly probably the best picture of these budget 4k IPS monitors. Tough to say for sure but it's a great picture. I like it better than the LG which was brighter but overly saturated. HDR on both is m'eh at best and not really worth using. The stand however is not befitting of a ROG product. It's by far and away the worst stand I've ever seen. It's short, super short, raising the monitor only about half as high as the LG. It's also broken in that the cable routing hole isn't big enough for either end of the power plug. So the display port cable is cleanly routed and the power cable just hangs down. There's a dock for the phone but my pixel 7 doesn't fit either length or width. There's no portrait rotation. And it's just plain ugly. If you buy this monitor you will want a separate stand or arm to mount it to. So add another $50 or so to the price. Bottom line I don't think it's worth an extra $50-$100 dollar premium over the LG. BUT, the LG has severe quality issues with that monitor so if you want the best 'budget' 4k monitor, this is probably the way to go. I'll reply back if there are any picture issues.

Great monitor, use it for work, easy on my eyes.

After only a few weeks i got permanent horizontal lines across the bottom quarter of the screen. Also, after a few minutes the bottom left corner turns black and gets INCREDIBLY hot. Don’t buy this monitor. ——————————— This monitor is fantastic for my needs. I bought it as a sort of overkill/splurge to have for work and also for some of my extra consoles that I have at my desk. I didn’t care about HDR with this monitor when I purchased it, but when I hooked my ps5 pro to it, the lighting did look a little better than when I had HDR off. I’m used to using an lg C2 which this doesn't compare to but it’s serviceable. My biggest worry because of the type of panel is concentrated backlight bleed near the bezel edges. Fortunately I don't have this issue. The panel by its type will bleed light into black but it’s even and expected and there are features to lessen this. I absolutely love the stand it comes with. It’s so easy to adjust and I dont feel the need to use any other type of stand. It’s sturdy and easy to install. The navigation nub and buttons on the side of the monitor are great. The nub makes everything painless to manage. Im using all three inputs, usb-c (for my work laptop), HDMI (for my Gamecube, PS5 OG, Switch 2, Analogue Pocket, etc. with an HDMI switch), and as a second display for my personal computer. I’ve had no issues with flickering or it struggling to find the active source. I’m not expert on monitors. I used to pay a lot more attention, but for just seeing a ‘sale’, seeing the specs, and jumping on it for 319 it has been a fantastic purchase for my needs.

Es un excelente monitor para PC o consola, debe ser uno de los mejores monitores en la actualidad sin llegar a ser OLED, solo que tiene un pequeño detalle, solo cuenta con un puerto HDMI, en mi caso mi PC no cuenta con display port y tengo que estar haciendo switch entre la PC y el PS5 con el cable HDMI, dejando de lado ese inconveniente creo que cumple con lo que dice y lo sobrepasa, altamente recomendado.

Un des meilleurs écrans non OLED, par contre, je l’ai échangé contre un OLED MSI de 32 pouces (très satisfait), mais ça reste un excellent écran ! Joueur Xbox Série X
