This probiotic is meant to be taken as a once daily probiotic for an extended period of time. saccharomyces boulardii is a good strain for short-term use but long term use of saccharomyces boulardii has been associated with side effects including: gas, bloating; or constipation. For this product the minimal benefits of saccharomyces boulardii don't out weight the potential common side effects.
