Thick solid material. Water resistant
The LEVEL8 Compression Packing Cubes are very well made. They are made of a thicker, silky nylon material that is water resistant. I love that they have the extra zipper on the side of each cube so you can overpack them and then use the zipper to compress them to a narrower size. I feel the cubes are made well and with good material so this kind of stress will be handled well when compressed. The zippers are also very solid, and slide easily. There are handles on the top of each cube which will be nice if I want to hang any cubes while traveling so I can store my suitcase out of sight. I also really like that the cubes are water resistant. You realize how important this is when you travel with any kind of liquid and it leaks in the suitcase. Think of a bottle of wine, hair gel, or suntan lotion. If it bursts, it can ruin anything it touches. I feel the sizes are adequate as long as you roll clothing. I probably would need more but that is mainly because I have a tendency to overpack. These cubes are far and away better than any cubes I have owned, and I have quite a collection of them. The only drawback that I see (and thus the lower rating) is that I feel the price for packing cubes, no matter how nice, is quite high.

Sturdy!
Made from sturdy material! Excellent for packing or to use on their own. Plenty of room to pack and the different sizes are a plus. The zippers are well made and will not fail easily.

The Best Quality
These packing cubes are expensive. And totally worth it for the quality, durability, and performance. I travel a lot for work and had a descent set of compression cubes that work fine. Until I discovered these. Feeling the fabric side by side is all you need to do to notice the quality. The zippers do not stick at all, which has been a constant issue with my other cubes, the zippers get stuck and catch on the clothing and you have to spend entirely too much of your patience trying to unzip and rezip. These are way easier to use. And the depth of compression is way better, meaning you can get more into your suitcases than other brands and styles. The shoe bag fits 2 pairs of flats easily, and the fabric feels waterproof. These are my new go-to packing cubes.

Excellent, high-value, very well made packing cube set
I'm a HUGE fan of packing cubes. I have them from many different brands (Alpaka, Tom Bihn, Aer), and these are just as nice - if not nicer - and durable as any of them. They're especially attractive at this price point as well, given you get 6 of them at differnet sizes. The only thing that might make them better would be if they were lighter. If you're trying to minimize the amount of weight you're carrying, these are slightly heavier, but that's a fairly trivial problem for most people, as these are likely going to be used in a roller carry-on. Highly recommend these.
