An error and an omission
My comment is limited the chapter detailing the gods of pre-Islamic Arabian Peninsula.1. Error: The Ohoud verse of Koran states quite specifically that God of the new faith is neither a she nor is it a he. It neither gives birth nor is it born from anything. Any Islamic Scholar could have told the author that!2. Omission: Islam is the Arab version of everything Jewish! All thegender inequality laws, not mentioning the barbaric ones such as an eye for an eye, stoning, and dismembering, male circumcision, etc. all come from Torah!

An opportunity missed
Really a superficial look at an amazing subject. Not porn but this book misses so much of the meaning behind this symbol of the Divine Feminine. Nice images though.For me Lara Owen's book gave me a much more profound understand of the magical Yoni. This book is a REAL Gem Her Blood is Gold: Awakening to the Wisdom of Menstruation
