In the Add claims that it fits the Predator 212cc engine unfortunately the bolts they sent do not fit without having spare on hand made it very difficult not impressed

I recently acquired a mini bike with a Predator 212cc engine that was not running. Before I tear into it to get it going, I wanted to gather some parts I may need so that I can keep the project moving once I get started.My Predator already has an aftermarket exhaust pipe with a standard Briggs & Stratton-style 5 to 8 HP muffler. The pipe has a coupler welded to it with ¾ inch female pipe threads, that will allow this JMCHstore muffler to connect without any modification or fabrication.I got this muffler with the hope that it would give me a little better sound and, maybe, a little performance increase. Also, it will give me something that is not so “industrial” looking. The Briggs muffler currently on my mini bike is about 2 1/8" in diameter and 6 1/4" long. The JMCHstore is quite a bit larger at 10 7/8” long. It is oval shaped; 3 7/8” at the larger dimension and 2 5/8” at the smaller.The JMCHstore has no internal baffling. It is straight through except for a wire screen at the outlet end. Looking inside the muffler from the end, you can see a perforated inner section. The external body of the muffler is aluminum. Some of the internal parts are steel.The muffler includes a mounting/support clamp. This is made from an aluminum extrusion and it fits snugly around the muffler body. This is a good thing except that the ends of the outside shell of the muffler are secured in place with rivets. The rivets essentially increase the size of the body at the ends. This necessitated prying the clamp open significantly to clear the rivets and slide it on the body. Prying it open required two tools and three hands. And it felt like I was going to break the clamp or, at least, permanently deform it. Neither of these things happened, but installing the clamp was way more troublesome that it should have been. The use of countersunk rivets would have made this task much easier. Also, I had to be careful during the clamp installation to prevent scratching the black finish on the outside of the muffler.Once I get my Predator running, I look forward to installing this muffler to see how it sounds.

I used this muffler on my kids go cart. To replace the old one that fell off. Made the go cart noticeably quitter and looks good too.

Smaller than expected and build quality matches the price range of unit. It only reduced the exhaust noise a minimum amount on our small 4-wheeler. It changed the tone of the exhaust more than it reduced the volume. I am looking for a better replacement.

It significantly improves exhaust flow and reduces noise, enhancing both performance and comfort. The build quality is excellent, with durable materials and precise engineering. Installation is straightforward, and it adds a noticeable boost to the engine’s efficiency.
