Best Yet! The Clips Just Work!
Finally a LED trim bulb that just installs tightly to the ceiling with little to no labor or frustration!I renovate and manage property. I've been dozens of brands of these. These are the best I've ever used. The retainer clips just work. The clips come separate in the box. You literally just untwist two twist ties and push the clips on to the LED's. When you install the light, they are tight - as in the light trim is flush with the ceiling. It just works!I've been through so many styles where the retainer clips just don't work tightly, no matter what. The last box I ordered of a previous brand, I had to unscrew clips from my old lights and re-screw them to the new lights. We've caulked in so many of these things in various location, because the inevitable gap between the bulb and ceiling just looked so bad.On to the actual light function. They are bright. They have every color setting you could want. I prefer the 6k personally. My Chinese random brand LEDs of past usually last 2-4 years. I'd be fine with these last within that range - as they are so easy to change and cheap enough to purchase. We recently had some power surges in our house causing some other brands to die pre-maturely. I bought another brand and had mix and matched in our kitchen for a while. I literally just replaced all 8 with this brand, including removing the other brand new ones. This will be my new go-to brand.

Very easy and inexpensive recessed light replacement/upgrade
I am not one who likes to take the time to post reviews because I just don't like to. However, I needed to write a review that might help others. These LED recessed light upgrades are amazing. We have 27 year old recessed (can) lights in our house. They are the type with the stretchable springs holding the trim housing and goof ring up to the drywall ceiling. I was lucky that these also had the clip on each side to accommodate the spring wire retainers that come with the new LED replacement. As hard as it may be to believe, it literally took 2 minutes to remove the old light trim and install each of these new LED replacement upgrade lights. Remove the 2 springs (or unhook the spring wires from the clips if you have that style) holding the old light trim assembly up in place as well as the light bulb and set them aside. Screw the new LED replacement harness into the bulb socket. Place a clip retaining spring wire assembly into each side of the new LED light assembly. Connect the LED light harness to the harness connector hanging from the bulb socket. Place each of the spring wires into the wire clips inside the recessed light housing. Then push the light assembly up to contact the drywall ceiling. Done! If your old recessed light housing does not have the two clips inside to slide the new retaining spring wires into you can purchase them on Amazon as well. I installed new compatible dimmers on the lights that I replaced in the kitchen and you can adjust the LED lights from off to very bright. This should meet anyone's needs. I also tried a pair of the new LED lights in our sunroom with just the old single pole switch. They worked with that as well if you don't want to have to install a dimmer. (I would say that using just the single pole light switch that the new LED lights were maybe a little less bright than they are on the dimmer in the kitchen when set at brightest level with the dimmer).

All perfect but 1 out of 2 cases
I ordered 2 case of these lights. All worked perfect but 1. The one that did not work was a problem with the clips and not the LED. I used them everywhere so I need another case anyway. They replaced my metal eye lense covers. They had rusted and were no longer timely. The bulbs in them were also bad so replacing with these was actually economical. The ones I have used in the past had choices in color intensity, these do not. I had one complaint that they were too bright. I purchased dimmers to combat this, and I personally think every light switch should have a dimmer. These lights covered the whole perfectly and we very easy to install. Think of the phrase easy as changing a lightbulb. These lights do require the metal tabs on your light cans so I would check that they have them and they are not broken or missing. I do not know if these are sealed, as that is a requirement for in shower use. However, the electrical connection is in the can behind the protected light. As you can tell from my testimony of buying more, I think they are a good product. This was overall a very affordable improvement project.

Good customer service.
I got the product and it included some clear instructions, which is good. I reviewed the list of compatible dimmers and went to Menards and purchased one from the list. I replaced on of my incandescent lights with the new LED and the new dimmer and everything seemed good. After I got all 6 of them replaced I turned on the dimmer and did the low end programming (Lutron MACL-153M). Everything looked good for about 5 minutes and then every once in a while I get flickering; even on full power. Not sure what I'm going to do yet. May have to return the lights. Also, if you are replacing 6" lights you should consider a different product. These could be about 1/2" larger diameter so it covers the original hole plus some. Right now I can't get the original whole covered if there was any mistakes in making a perfect circle. On the positive side, the adjustable light temp is very nice. Installation was easy. Glad I ordered better clips for the springs. The ones these lights come with are pretty flimsy. If your can is too short for the lights to go all the way up, just bend them so when they get to the top they will angle in.Update: it only seems to be one or two that were flickering. Customer service reached out to me and they are replacing the two lights. They have been very helpful.
