With treats in the States so full of additives , it’s great to come across a healthier option (dried fruit) that my daughter likes .

Bought these mangos on a whim. It opened it one night while watching a new show and before I knew it, I killed the whole bag before the episode I was watching was over! Tastes great, and will buy again!

I've eaten two piecesIt had normal fiber in it, nothing i had any trouble chewing at all. Just like a fresh mango amount of fiber.I was surprised at how sweet it is. I can see why people have said the company must add sugar. I don't know if they do or do not, but there is residue on them. Part of the drying process? who knows. Either way, I have to limit because, being dried fruit it is a treat for diabetics, of which i am one.I am a bit confused about the back of the package. There is a whole section that was covered by a brown sticker (to blend in with the package). Under the sticker was a whole host of benefits of dried mango. (such as may aid in lowering blood sugar.) I am assuming it was covered due to the claims not being regulated in the USA.Also, misspelling. It says it is "presentative free." maybe supposed to be preservatives?

The taste wasn't for me. It wasn't bad but I didn't love it. I have never tried dried mango before but I have tried other dried fruits which I love. This one felt like it had added sugar on top of a sweet dried fruit. I can't actually check if it's added sugar or not, they had something on the outside which can resemble sugar but since I don't know what drying process they used I can't tell if it's just the fruit that turns like that after drying.One thing that was weird is that it had some information with sharpie on top that used to say "no sugar added no presentatives (which I think is a typo for preservatives)" I don't know why they blot out that part but it takes me to believe that there's actual added sugar to this. Which I don't understand because mangoes are a very sweet fruit already.The other thing I noticed on the package was that they had some brown tape over another information which as far as I can tell was some health claim information; something along the lines of "this product will help your health in this and that" They probably needed to block that out because of the FDA here i in the US. not sure. But it didn't give me any confidence in the product.Overall, if you like overly sweet mangos then you might like them but as far as flavor profile, they aren't for me.

My whole family eats and loves this product. It is flexible, fragrant and has a mild sweet taste so it is easy to eat without getting bored. I will buy it as a gift for my friends 👍❤️

It’s soft and naturally sweet with no preservatives. A snack I can eat without feeling guilty. I would definitely buy this again.

this company claims to add no sugar to their fried mango. This is a blatant lie. it is completely covered in sugar.

Royal Omega is the best dried fruit I've had. The sweetness is perfect and the pieces aren't sticky and gross. Good value and great taste

These dried mango slices are tasty. What makes them unique compared to other dried mango brands is that these come in whole slices of the face of the mango as opposed to cut into smaller strips or chunks.The mango is quite sweet with a slightly grainy texture when you bite into it. (I can live with the grainy texture, but to me, it detracts from the snacking experience. It’s definitely not my favourite texture.) The mango is sliced a bit on the thinner side as opposed to the chunky side. If you look closely at a slice, you’ll find that it kind of sparkles in the light. I assume that this is from the sugar content.The dried mango comes in a resealable brown paper pouch and says that it’s a product of Vietnam. There is no expiry date that I could find listed on the package.One thing that I find suspicious, though, is that there is a full paragraph of writing that is covered up by a blank brown paper sticker. It’s suspicious because it was clearly placed there to hide some of the original writing that was originally printed on the package. Unfortunately, when I tried to pull the sticker up, it pulled the original text up, as well, so I’m not really sure what the writing is about that they are deliberately hiding. (I included a photo to give you an idea of what I mean.) This is part of my main reason for deducting a star. (This and the grainy texture).Otherwise, this dried mango is tasty…and did I mention very sweet? I usually buy my dried mango from Costco (the brand that is a product of the Philippines)…and I think I might prefer the texture and $ value of the Costco pack. However, this dried mango from Vietnam is still a tasty treat…if you have a sweet tooth.**********UPDATE:————It’s strange. The more of this I ate, the less I started liking it. The texture was becoming too grainy/mushy for me, and it started tasting too sweet.

The flavour is incredibly rich and sweet, with the perfect chewy texture. They’re a great snack for any time of day. Plus, they’re a healthier alternative to candy.

The bag these dried mangoes come in smells bad, but the dried mangoes themselves don't taste too bad. They are very dry and very sweet compared to another brand of dried mangoes I like.The mango slices are big which is good. They physically look dry and the surface of the mangoes is white, like there is some sugar, despite saying "no added sugar." They are not hard to bite or chew.I ate one and it was fine. After eating a second, I realized how sweet they are and didn't really feel like eating any more. This is not a snack I could eat in one sitting because they are very sweet.
