Libbey Cabos 16-Piece Tumbler and Rocks Glass Set

They are stylish and terrible. Easy to clean. I actually purchased two sets. Perfect size and and keeps temperature appropriate. Affordable and good quality.

After reading the reviews, I was wary, but these arrived perfectly in tact, have a very nice heft, and are sturdy and attractive. The short glasses are about 3/4" shorter than the ones we had before, but they are still perfectly fine for our use - milk or water with dinner. We have had no problems with them falling over in our dishwasher (as some reviews suggested), they do not seem overly fragile, they are an attractive style and weight, they arrived in tact, and they are indeed flat on the bottom so do not need wiping down after the wash cycle. Overall, very pleased with our purchase!

When i first received my set of Cabo cups two of them were broken/Chipped. I contacted the company that same night and got a response within 5-10 mins informing me they will replace the cups. Because of a snowstorm it was delayed and i emailed them again around 9 on a Saturday & got a response right back within minutes giving my track number and giving me a time frame. My cups were delivered a day or two later. Amazing response team and customer service, the cups are beautiful and durable so far!

Overall, I really like these Cabos glasses a lot --- but I don't LUVVVVV them, and I really thought I would (judging from the photos). Pros: Aesthetics: I love the unique shape! We have a Spanish/Mexican home decor and these fit perfectly. They are similar to my much more expensive authentic Mexican hand-blown vintage bubble glassware we purchased 25+ years ago, but with a bit of a more modern vibe. Sadly, over the years most of our Mexican glassware set has cracked or broken, so I wanted a replacement -- but something a bit less expensive in case they broke (we have lots of kids and guests going in and out of the house). Price: These are nice looking glasses for the relatively low price you pay. You get 8 larger glasses and 8 rocks glasses for around $18-$23! Sturdy: Though we've had them for just a short time, we've already put them through several dishwasher loads. They have come out unscathed. Despite the lighter weight (see CONS, below), they seem pretty sturdy/durable so far. --- Cons: Too Short! These glasses need to be at least 1/2" taller. It's my own fault for not reading the dimension details before purchasing: it clearly states the glasses are 5.8" in ht. I should have measured my other glasses to compare! The Cabos glasses look more like juice glasses to me, rather than a cooler or ice tea glass (which is what I wanted). They look a bit child-like in my husband's large hands (6'4, 220lb), and he hasn't been using them. He says they are just too small. He prefers a larger glass (16+ oz). The rocks glasses, on the other hand, look perfect in size, ---but yeah, the tumblers are just a bit too small. These glasses look larger in the photos than they do in real life. Also, the bottoms of the glasses are NOT as thick as they look in the photos (though they are a heavier wt bottom and give the glass a nice weight in your hand). Again, the glass itself feels a bit light --- hard to explain: in other words the glass without the "bottom" feels light; however, the actual bottom thickness of the glass feels heavy. More on this, below. I wish they were heavier: Compared to my Mexican bubble glassware, the Cabos glasses almost feel like acrylic drinkware. They feel very light weight to me. It's not that they are made of "thin glass" -- the glass seems medium in thickness, but the actual weight of them seems very light, despite the slightly heavier bottom. Luckily, none have broken in the dishwasher (but one did arrive with a thin fracture line). ---- Note: Due to the inverted V shape of these glasses (narrow top, wider base), kids and seniors may have a hard time holding the tumblers, esp if their hands are wet or or the glass becomes sweaty (this glass sweats a lot when you have ice in it!), as the glasses can slide down the hand very easily if your grip isn't tight. When I hold these glasses, I use my pinky as a "rest" for the bottom of the glass, as I grip the glass. Overall, considering the great price, if you are looking for a cooler glass that is attractive, looks a bit more unique, has a cool beachy/mexican/tropical style, etc, the Libbey Cabos is ideal! On the other hand, if you are looking for a taller type "ice tea" or cooler glass, or want a heavier feeling glass, you may want to consider other styles. I am going to try the Libbey "Vibe" which is from their restaurant line. It's a similar type of shape to the Cabos (but it tapers a bit at the bottom compared to the Cabos). Vibe is said to be taller. I hope it's heavier, too.

These glasses are very durable and easy to hold. I really like the look and with the wider base, they won't easily tip over. UPDATE: After only 2-3 uses, one of the Rocks glasses has cracked, so maybe not so durable after all. We usually only use these glasses when we have company, or fix a big breakfast. Super-bummed that one has cracked already. :( Have emailed Libbey to see if there's any way I can get a replacement for it. UPDATE #2: Libbey Customer Service was AMAZING! I submitted an inquiry and they responded within 24 hours requesting that I submit photos. I submitted photos of the one chipped glass and they immediately sent me an ENTIRE NEW SET! Thanks Libbey! :)

Nice glasses, classy design. Came back to order another set, $10.00 price increase in 2 months?? No thanks 4 stars for glasses, 0 for seller and gouging.

I absolutely love these glasses! I bought the Cabos set. They are a nice weight and a little tint to them my old glasses do not have. Feels nice in you it hands and Sadie's not have an indent on the bottom that collects water in the dishwasher! Thanks Libby Glass!

It’s really heavy which I wouldn’t mind that much but you can tell the quality is kinda low. The bottom is uneven, higher on one side than the other. When looking from the top, the rim is seriously thick. Will do the job I guess but was definitely expecting higher quality

El precio me pareció espectacular para la cantidad de vasos y la resistencia de ellos. El vaso pequeño me encantó, buen diseño, capacidad y resistencia, sin embargo, el vaso grande es lindo pero incómodo para lavar, la boquilla es muy angosta. En general muy buena compra.
