Yummy. The texture is good. The top had a few scales on it which I didn't like. Otherwise, delicious sardiney goodness with a slash of lemon.

Not really outstanding
I'm not going to say they weren't good, they were. Perfectly good sardines, with a rich sardine flavor. Good quality fish, firm and flaky, no question. But the harissa disappointed a little, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The spices were good, just not different enough from a standard sardine packed in tomato sauce to justify the extra expense. Yes, I enjoyed eating them, but no I won't buy them again. There's plenty of more flavorful sardines out there to choose from.
