Good profile DVD
DVD profiling 20 of WWE's most successful stars between 2000 and 2010. Andy, when you think about it - they were the most talked about of that decade. Don't agree with the title - but I suppose it might be renamed in 5 yrs time, when the WWE releases a Greatest Superstars of the 2010s!The highlight match is definitely Brock vs Kurt's 1hr Iron Man match

Average
Reasonably priced, but nothing to write home about, 3 discs but not a lot on each. Ok if you can pick up a bargain, prices seem to vary greatly

could of been so much better, poor show .
i thought i was buying a "top 50 " , there was no order just all randomly thrown in together , when i seen Stone cold Steve Austin was on before JBL i began to worry , was good to see some old clips of the attidude era and the banter between Stone cold and the Rock was quality but when you have Daniel Bryan and Santino (yes Santino)clearly reading a script about how amazing each superstar was it became repetitive and boring .Overall not a bad watch but could of made it so much better .

Greatest Stars of the (first nine years of the) 21st Century
This three disc DVD showcases the greatest superstars of the 21st century, or at least that's what it says. It's an odd choice for a title considering the DVD only covers the first nine years of the century so it's making a pretty bold claim. Also the documentary introduces it as including the year 2000, which is part of the 20th century but never-mind, it's not as bad as their 25th anniversary of wrestlemania mistake...The first disc contains the list of superstars considered the greatest of what I assume is meant to be the decade of 2001-2010. Just like the Greatest Stars of the 90s DVD, it's a series of ten minute biographies that give an overview of their importance to that decade. It's not in any obvious order, they just present them one after the other. There's a good amount of people interviewed for each person featured to give a strong overview of the wrestler in question. Obviously in ten minutes it can't go into too much detail but a lot of the profiled wrestlers have their own DVDs available so if any of them make you want to know more then they're out there. Most people watching are probably aware of everything that's covered here but it's still an enjoyable feature. I wouldn't recommend getting it to see this feature but if the matches interest you then it's definitely worth a watch. There are always going to be people that you either disagree with their inclusion or you think should have been included but weren't, but overall I think they did a pretty good job of selecting the standouts from that decade. The wrestlers profiled in this feature are:-Chris Jericho-Edge-Triple H-John 'Bradshaw' Layfield-Kane-Kurt Angle-The Rock-Randy Orton-Brock Lesnar-Jeff Hardy-Big Show-Eddie Guerrero-Shawn Michaels-Booker T-'Stone Cold' Steve Austin-The Undertaker-Rey Mysterio-Batista-John CenaThe other two discs are made up of matches featuring the wrestlers profiled:Booker T vs. The Rock - First we have the WCW World Heavyweight Championship Match from Summerslam 2001. Shane McMahon is in Booker's corner and gets involved multiple times, thankfully in this match it only adds to the excitement of the action so I didn't mind it. It's a fast paced brawl that leaves the ring a few times and even goes through the crowd at one point. The action is very good throughout and has several near-falls as the match goes on to keep the match exciting. The finish was great and it was a really enjoyable match from start to finish.Chris Jericho vs. Rob Van Dam - From an episode of RAW, this was an Intercontinental Championship Match. It was a very good, fast paced, back and forth match. There were plenty of counters throughout and some good near-fall too. Triple H provided a distraction for Rob Van Dam but thankfully it didn't negatively impact the match and we still got a clean and decisive finish. It was another really enjoyable, competitive match that hadn't been released before.Triple H vs. Kane - This was another RAW Match, this time for the World Heavyweight Championship and Kane's mask. It's a match that's more remembered for what happened afterwards than for the action in the ring. The action itself was still good though and the match would be worth including even if it wasn't for that aftermath. There's a referee knocked down and some involvement from Ric Flair but both of those just add to the excitement of the match. There's some really good near-falls and the closing stretch was just fantastic. It was so much better than I expected it to be going in.Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar - This was a 60 Minute Ironman Match for the WWE Championship. It's from an episode of Smackdown but thankfully there are no commercial breaks to interrupt the flow. It's such a good match, it's one of the best matches in Smackdown history and maybe even of all time. The action is great from start to finish. There's some good strategy in there such as Lesnar sacrificing a fall in order to gain two. All the falls are great and there's plenty of near-falls along the way too. Lesnar controlled the majority of the action after a chair-shot and so Angle was constantly fighting from underneath. Angle manages to injure Brock's leg though which allows him to make a comeback. The finish to the full match was good and built some good drama. Overall the match was just fantastic from start to finish and the best 60 minute Ironman match I've seen.Eddie Guerrero vs. Rey Mysterio - Also from Smackdown, this was for Eddie Guerrero's WWE Championship. These two have faced off so many times and they always deliver quality matches. This one was no different as they gave us a great, competitive match. Guerrero controlled a lot of the action as he tried to ground Mysterio and focused his attack on Mysterio's arm/shoulder while Rey came back with his high flying offence. There were some really good counters and all the wrestling was great. There were lots of convincing near-falls as the match went on and it led to a clean and decisive finish. Great stuff.JBL vs. The Undertaker vs. Booker T vs. JBL - From Armageddon, this Fatal Four-Way Match was for the WWE Championship. It's a pretty good main event. The action is always entertaining, although it does slow down for a couple of minutes in the middle, but not enough to hurt the overall match. Undertaker is dominant which meant his opponents had to team up in order to take him out. Two men end up going through announce tables and a couple of weapons are used but for the most part they just wrestle and brawl without needing to take advantage of the no-rules aspect of the match. I really liked seeing Undertaker and Eddie Guerrero fighting as that's a combination I hadn't seen before. Everyone got a chance to stand out throughout the action but I felt like it was Eddie who stole the show here. Heidenreich made an unnecessary appearance but thankfully it didn't hurt the match, it just wasn't something the match needed. There were some good near-falls as the match went on and it built to a good finish. An entertaining match overall.JBL vs. Big Show vs. Kurt Angle - This Triple Threat Match was also for the WWE Championship and it took place at the 2005 Royal Rumble. It was a much more entertaining match than I expected. The action was consistently good, with Big Show being dominant and his opponents having to work together to take him out. Kurt Angle fought smartly, picking and choosing his moments and JBL was the champion, just trying to survive with his title. It had a bit of interference which felt unnecessary and I would have liked for it to have gone for five more minutes but other than that it was an enjoyable match.Triple H vs. Edge - This RAW match was for the World Heavyweight Championship. It was a good back and forth match. The two felt pretty evenly matched throughout with plenty of counters for each other's offence. The official was knocked down for a while which wasn't really needed but I don't think it really hurt the match. It allowed Ric Flair and Batista to get involved and while these two didn't need that involvement to have a good match they didn't stop it from being an enjoyable fight. The finish was decisive, although it was caused by that interference which was a shame. Overall it was an entertaining match.Lita vs. Trish Stratus - This was from Unforgiven and was a WWE Women's Championship Match. I'm glad they resisted putting their main event of RAW from 2004 that they often seem to go to on DVD releases. It was also Trish's last match for five years and her very last as a full tim roster member. It was a good, competitive match. They clearly knew each other very well which showed in the action, they had some good counters for each other's signature moves. There were some good near falls as the match went on and a good, clean finish. At this time only Mickie James vs. Trish from Wrestlemania was better than it when it comes to women's matches on pay-per-view. It's been surpassed many times now but it still holds up as a good, entertaining match.Shawn Michaels vs. Randy Orton vs. Edge - The winner of this Triple Threat Match from RAW would go on to face John Cena at Wrestlemania 23. It was a very good match. Orton and Edge were a team around this time so initially they worked together to beat down Michaels. Neither of them could be trusted though so the alliance didn't last which allowed Shawn to get back into the fight. There were some good near-falls as the match went on and it all led to a really good, decisive finish. A really entertaining match.John Cena, Batista, Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton, Edge, Mr. Kennedy and MVP - This was an 8-Person Tag Team Match from RAW. It was a very good match. The babyfaces were dominant until their opponents eventually managed to single out John Cena and work him over. Cena's team had some communication problems towards the end as Cena and Michaels were fighting Undertaker and Batista at No Way Out and then Batista was fighting Undertaker and Cena fighting Michaels at Wrestlemania. That made for a chaotic ending and led to a decisive finish and it was an entertaining match overall. The Undertaker vs. Batista - This last match was from Wrestlemania 23. It was for the World Heavyweight Championship and was a match that massively exceeded expectations. I don't think anyone was expecting something good from this one but they ended up delivering a fantastic match and almost stealing the show. The two men just beat the hell out of each other. Batista was Undertaker's biggest Wrestlemania challenge yet and Undertaker was Batista's. It turned into a brawl around the ringside area at one point which led to Undertaker being slammed through the announce table. There were some good near-falls as the match went on and a clean and satisfying finish. This was a very good DVD. The main feature is well made and enjoyable to watch. It doesn't really offer anything new but that doesn't stop it being worth a watch if you get this DVD. The main reason to get this one would be for the matches as there are a good number of high quality bouts included. The highlights of which were the Ironman Match and the Eddie vs. Rey championship match, but all the matches deliver some entertaining wrestling. The matches do only go up until 2007 so it's missing the last three years of the decade but I wouldn't complain at that too much as I really enjoyed all the matches they did pick.
