Great concept - these are good for heavy solid oak doors which you don’t want to be stopping with a rigid door stop - they would rip that out plus it’s not good for the door. What they do is slow them down as door bump them. They have rubber base and rubber bumper around. They cope fine with my 60kg oak doors and the heavy front door on stone floor. Have not tried on carpets. Now they are just steel skin and top dents easily but I cannot imagine what more they could do for what they costs. Just need to keep remembering to shift them to the right spot

Just what was needed. Does the job I got them for. Prevents doors from hitting wall or whatever is behind the various doors I have. Two sit on laminated flooring, one sits on carpet, and one sits on tiles. Obvs the carpet offers more grip to the stopper but the others are surprisingly effective too. The underneath of the stopper is ribbed, so it helps if you face these ribs the correct way to increase the door-stopping effectiveness of these things.

We have balconies in our new build flat by the river with two doors opening outwards but the genius designers didn't think about the door handles banging against the wall. These door stops have a diameter large enough to match how much the door handle protrudes from the door, are heavy enough to not be blown around, are free-standing and with the polished chrome finish, look really good on my balcony floor.Pity they are now out of stock. Bring them back! I've recommended it to my neighbours!

excellent weight, looks nice in a room. we use it not only to keep doors open but also keep door knobs from slamming into walls and making dents. we use it instead of a screw in / adhesive solution as we are renting. each one is individually boxed so very safe packing and cardboard recyclable. really like these and may order a few more for around the house.

House gets very warm during the summer, so we have lots of doors and windows open which means doors slamming all day. These have solved the problem 100%. Look great too.

The tops keep falling

A good alternative to making holes in the floor or walls. These were attractive and well priced and arrived when they said they would, although it was 10 days from order to delivery.

Have had these for over a year now and can say they are the best door stoppers ever. Liked them that much I immediately purchased them again. Thank you.
