These knives are great! Super sharp and have a sharper point than most other snap off retractable knives. Not only do they have the typical snap off feature, they supply you with an additional ten blades.

Good value, well made-- a quantum leap above the all-plastic junk for a great price, especially considering the inclusion of the added blades. Sturdy steel guide for the blade, attractive anodize aluminum handle feels good in the hand. Sharp as heck!! Keep an eye out for generic replacement blade, some are as low as $.16 each.

I was pleasantly surprised by this utility knife—it’s quickly become my favorite. The build quality is excellent, with a mostly metal body that gives it a solid, weighty feel for its size, a big upgrade from the typical plastic versions. It feels durable and professional. The blades themselves are holding up well so far, and I really appreciate the steeper angle at the tip. It allows for greater precision, especially when doing fine or detailed work. That little design detail makes a noticeable difference. As others have mentioned, the locking mechanism could be stronger. It’s not terrible, but it doesn’t inspire complete confidence if you’re putting a lot of pressure on the blade. That said, it hasn’t been a dealbreaker for me, and the overall quality more than makes up for it. If you're looking for a more refined, reliable snap-off utility knife, this one is definitely worth it.

I whittle small items (e.g. birds) and stumbled onto using this great product. The angled blade helps greatly with small details. Best of all, I now never have to stop and sharpen a blade on an ordinary knife. And the price is negligible in just breaking off another segment instead of sharpening.

These work well for opening taped seams of boxes and slicing open delivery packages, cutting all sorts of tape, string, smaller rope and bungee cords, performing trimming and some types of detail work, and cutting through thin cardboard. The blades are very sharp and have a sharp angled point, which could come in handy for some detail work. It's not made for scraping because the blade stands up off the surface when the handle is laid down on either side. I do a lot of handy work and I'm sure I'll find other uses. Most utility knives of this size have cheap plastic handles. This holder is mostly metal, but on the thin side with a relatively slick surface. Along with its slim design it's not the easiest to find a firm grip. It's OK for use here and there, but perhaps not the best for use at length such as on the job. Although there is no adjustment for locking the exposed blade in place, it is relatively secure with a small amount of play that should be acceptable for most uses. For those not familiar with this type utility knife, as a blade section becomes dull, you simply snap it off at a perforation (away from you, typically with pliers), and then slide a new blade section forward. When the blade is used up, they are easy to change out by pulling off the back end of the handle. The sliding mechanism operates smoothly. The handle only holds one blade at a time. I have found Workpro's products often better quality, design, and value than most other competing brands online, which are typically Chinese junk. Some of their products are and often as good and sometimes better quality than premium and well-known brands including those of Big Box stores, but cost less, often much less. Most of their products are also made in China. Workpro is not just another Chinese company peddling junk that initially looks to be a good value. I hope the info helps.

These are so great. I had the cheap one, and I didn’t know that i could get these. Love them. Not cheap at all. Strong and sturdy. These will last a while. When I get more then one I usually give some away, but these too nice to share. I will show them off, but I will not share.

These utility knives have a quality feel they have weight to them. They exceed my expectations. The body is metal. You have plenty of blades. They're easy to operate. They feel good in the hand. The fit and finish are superb.

I bought this set of craft knives about a year ago and I absolutely LOVE them. The set comes in a sturdy, clear plastic container with a lid, so you can see what's inside, and the knives themselves are extremely well made and very high quality. The set consists of 5 craft knives, each with a long, snap - off blade that you can snap off at 9mm intervals as needed when the current blade loses its sharpness, (speaking of which, be careful when you snap off the old blade because it can still cut you - I suggest using a pair of flat nose pliers to break off the old blade because that keeps your fingers away from it) and you also receive 10 extra blades in the box. I've been using one of these craft knives for the last year and I've only gotten through 2 blades so far, so I'm very happy with my purchase, and I thoroughly recommend the Amazon Basics collection.
