Very nice senior tricycle
It came in a new undamaged condition, 10 days after ordering via FedEx (NJ to WA). Very nice quality and stout frame. It is mostly preassembled, but plan on a couple of hours or more. The manual is in english... but uses noun names that don't seem correct. The pictures help. The manual says to put the stout back bin on before the battery (video is opposite). I had to loosen the bin because it interfered with sliding on the battery. Now that the bin is moved a quarter inch, the battery can properly go on and off. If the ball of my foot is at pedal center, then my heels hit the back bin. I have to have my foot center at the pedal center for my US#10 shoes. The handlebar is close to you, which may be good for seniors. The front wheel didn't quite align with the handlebars, but there is an easy adjustment screw facing up that you see if you unclamp and pivot over the steering upright shaft. There are two different keys. The key on the battery is only to keep the battery from being stolen. I tried to center the disc brake calipers while loosening highest and lowest hexkey screws that face backwards on calipers (fiddly). I wasn't able to adjust cable barrels to get tighter cable (better brake feel) due to some wobble in discs. There is no mode button. To pedal only, keep handlebar "ignition" key off. To have assist only, turn key on and use grip throttle (and use 1,2,3 button for level). 1=10km/h, 2=16km/h, 3=22km/h. For hybrid, do same as assist only, but also pedal. A problem is that the assist is too much when pedaling on "1" with no throttle (10km/h), and lags (keeps going) after you stop pedaling. To go slow, you can't pedal or you need to stop pedaling early (and be ready with hand brakes). You can't really go slower than 10km/h if key is on (without brakes). The throttle doesn't seem to work if pedaling with key on (you are going to go 10 or 16 or 22). This is not good if you are very elderly with some mind slowing dementia. The pedaling is single gear, so only aids in #1 (you would have to pedal superfast in #2). Tricycles are good in their way, but I wouldn't recommend an elderly person to use it on any sidehill at all. I tried our steep gravel driveway. Going up 7% grade or less works, but with steeper, the front driven wheel spins out (even with leaning way forward and trying to pedal (which can spin the rear tires)). I had to walk the tricycle up our 11+% gravel slope (the FedEx truck couldn't make it up either). The trike weighs 70Lbs with battery, less back kiddie seat. To put in car, fold back at central frame pivot clamp, and pivot down vertical steering column. Take out saddle. Lift into car sideways. I could "easily" do this alone (I am 62 and 162Lbs).Edit: You can go any speed you want very controllably with right grip throttle, even just creeping slow (up to max governed speed for that setting (1=6mph, 2=10mph, 3=14mph)), IF you don't pedal. If you pedal even just a little bit, it will zoom up to max governed speed. Applying brake levers stops the battery assist, or some seconds of no pedaling (and no hand throttle) will let you slow down from full governed speed. To mount rear brake light, red light is up highest and empty license plate holding bracket hangs down. Then tie wrap cable along luggage rack frame.

Smaller than I wanted. Poor customer support.
First thing, the box arrived damaged. While unpacking I found small pieces of broken plastic in bottom of box; which turned out to be one rear hub cap. When I unwrapped the battery, I found it to be cracked in two places. This makes my ride unsafe for riding in rain. Contacted sellers via email and received no response. The trike does ride nice, except for the distance between seat and handlebars a bit closer than I like. I'm not a small person, but under the weight limit stated. Also the seat height adjustment doesn't hold in one place. Set the height and as soon as I sit down the seat drops all the down. We had to add a steel sleeve in order to keep the seat in place.

Instructions not clear and complete
I do not know how to switch PAS mode from full drive to pedal assist to pedal only. 1 customer said it is easy once you told them how to do it but did not mention how to do it, so I have to ask.I don't see a proper way to install the taillight. The instructions have one tiny photo but does not show any detail. The video shows a person installing it but only shows from the back side so cannot see if there is some bracket that I did not receive or some other way that is not obvious to me.The instructions say to use the alternate HW set shipped separately but I don't see anything different between the original HW and the alternate HW so no idea why this is required. It would be nice to know the reason this is so important?

Great trike
This trike came well packaged with all parts included to assemble. Assembly was easy and straightforward. Trike is fun to ride with the throttle but the Pedal assist is a nightmare and an accident waiting to happen if not careful. When you start to pedal, the trike takes off super fast at level 1. Your legs are pedaling faster than the trike is moving. If there was a way to decrease the pedal assist speed, I would give it 5 stars. Until they can upgrade the display where you can adjust the PAS settings, or if I knew how to disable the PAS my rating would increase!UPDATE!!!The company reached out to me on how to change the settings. It was very easy. So now this trike is PERFECT! Customer Service is a plus and responds very quickly to your questions and tells you how to fix the problem.
