This review is for the AVIAMUSE Emirates Die-cast Model AirplaneOverall: 4 StarsI've started to collect smaller, high quality aircraft models, and this one fits that description. The fuselage of the aircraft is metal, and the aerosurfaces (wings, rudder, and horizontal stabilizer) are plastic. The model has a heft to it that lets you know that the fuselage is fairly thick metal, not paper thin like some other models I've had in the past. The livery matches that of the Emirates A380's, and provides a lot of detail. Landing gear is always an issue for aircraft models, they can't be replicated accurately at this scale, so tradeoffs have to be made. The wheels on other models are frangible, so these are a reasonable compromise, especially if you plan to give this to a child to play with.

I have two of these now and will order more for my collection. They are well built and painted. The wheels can use a little more quality, but just displaying them this is a nonissue.

Exquisite Craftsmanship is not really what I would call this model. Even the paint job needs work, the wings are scratched up. Close, but no cigar. 5 dollars at the most.

Just a plastic flimsy commercial passenger plane model. Tail wing broke right away without much effort. Had to use superglue to fix it. Not as much detail even on the paint job. It's more like an expensive matchbox bought at the dollar store quality. If you give this to a kid and drops it like a kid being a kid playing with toy cars, expect it to be broken in no time.

This is a nice model toy airplane. It’s not heavy and has nice details, making it look as close to the real thing.

If I'm not mistaken, this is an A380, the model of aircraft Emirates flies with a very special First Class cabin, the one with a shower in the sky. Those fortunate enough to have that experience - or those who strive to someday have a chance to do so - will appreciate this model. Though marketed as a play thing for children, it is sufficiently detailed to serve as a desk or shelf decoration.

This is a nice little toy. Not quite the workmanship I expected, but good.For example - the main landing gear rolls, but the nose gear does not, it is just a solid piece of plastic.The body is die cast metal, but the wings are plastic. Hard to price this things, but I think this is less quality than I would expect at the price.Not a collectors level item, but a good toy. So I will pass it on to the younger kid. He will have fun with it.
