I love cricket and have always liked Broad. This book made me like him even more.It is recent history but it also expands quite honestly into the story of English Cricket in the last 2 decades. It gives a view of a talented and often mercurial performer and then shows his increasing maturity both on and off the field.His involvement and retelling in the Lord's Test in 2023 was brilliant and compared favorably with the Amazon Aussie Test perspective shown earlier this year. A good read.

Great read

A brilliant insight into the life of an accomplished cricketer from start to finish. However I wish there were more things on: life lessons, character development, wisdom, authors perspective of things rather than just talking about what happened in his career, that we can find out on Google.

He read it quickly & really enjoyed it! 😊🤔

I'm so pleased that Stuart wrote his life story in cricket, he was a real star and personality and I hope to meet him to sign it for me.

An absorbing account of one of England’s best pace Test bowlers. I was totally unaware of the very early days of Stuart’s life. Fast bowling may look easy but Stuart’s story will surely convince you that it is not. For all Test cricket lovers a great read.
