Cuisinart WM-SW2N Sandwich Grill

My granddaughter and I got this for our summer sandwiches, and it is awesome. We use Pam spray and two sandwiches are done in less than two minutes. It's easy to use and to clean, except for the back by the hinges. The oil from the cheese gets back there and it's a pain to clean it out. Certainly not stopping us from our grilled cheese summer, but a "would be nice to have".

Second time owning this grill. Simple, efficient – makes perfect sandwiches over and over again

I think this works well but not amazing. Sometimes the bread slides and the sandwich becomes uneven. It does heat up well and the does not stick.

I've been wanting to try a sandwich maker for awhile and thought to give this one a try.Super easy to set up, just plug it in and it is ready to go! I tend to use bread thats a bit bigger but it works just fine. Just keep an eye on it and get it to the crisp that you enjoy on a sandwich!I really enjoy that it does give it a little "pocket" type area. So I tend to put diced pickles/tomatoes/etc in my cheese sandwiches to make them a little different.Overall, it is great and easy to use. My only request would be maybe a little alarm sound or such if you happen to leave it on. I tend to get distracted and forget that I have it on. Other than that, it is perfect!

This makes perfectly grilled sandwiches. I have purhcased 2 of these over the years and they are the best

I was trying to move the griddle on my countertop as it was heating up when I inadvertently touched its side and severely burned my finger.I’d read the instructions thoroughly and wondered what I’d missed, so I looked again. The instruction booklet merely says, “Do not touch hot surfaces.” Duh! How would I know there are hot surfaces on the OUTSIDE of the closed griddle? Why not have a diagram showing where the hot surfaces are when the griddle is closed? Any moron knows not to touch the griddle itself. But who would know to not touch the outside when it’s closed?Aside from that danger, it’s quite small. Normal sized pieces of bread don’t fit easily. I have to place a grilled cheese sandwich in the middle of the griddle plate and it takes a lot of hand strength to close it till the latch slips into place.Because it wasn’t very expensive I’m not going to bother with hassle of returning it.If you like grilled cheese sandwiches, look elsewhere or just use a stovetop griddle.

Great little sandwich maker, especially to make grilled cheese and such. Recommend spraying non stick spray prior to using to make it very easy to clean after
