I have blackout curtains— but they still let in light. I sewed blackout curtain liners, into my curtains, blocking most of the light. Unfortunately, light came in through the sides and in the middle of the curtains. I can’t sleep with light. My bedroom is next to a bright street light which shines into my back bedroom. I live in Texas, so my bedroom gets a lot of light. These window covers are amazing! There is no more light. My bedroom is pitch black; which is perfect. The covers are very lightweight and easy to use or reuse. I didn’t use the magnets instead I used pushpins from my home office. The size fit my windows perfectly. It wasn’t excellent value and exactly what I needed. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Comes with everything you need to get it set up. Read the instructions to make sure once you put it up, it sticks indefinitely. I had no issues. Carefully measuring your window, and the piece you cut out for that window. will make a difference in how much light is filtered out. It is true that it is 100 percent blackout, but you must make sure you cover the window entirely with the material so little cracks of light don’t seep in around the seems. Unless that doesn’t matter to you. I found this very useful in my camper. I was able to cover two regular camper windows and 1 small camper bathroom window with material to spare. I noticed in the summer it will block out a lot of heat. Make sure the silver side faces the outside part of the window for it to reflect heat. I’ve even noticed it has blocked some of the cold from coming in the windows of the camper during the colder months too. All in all they have held up really well so far without losing any stickiness. I highly recommend.

I am pleasantly surprised. I needed back out shades because the sun is beating down into the bedroom. Pros: - It’s light. It feels like a table cloth and it comes out wrinkled like one. It gives instructions how to get them out but I don’t have an iron. - It was simple and easy to cut to fit the window. - it really does block out the light! Cons: - The magnets are heavy and often fall off. They come with extra adhesion sticks but even those have fallen off. - It looks like a cheap plastic table cloth. It’s not pretty at all. Overall I am impressed by how it blocks out the light but I may keep looking since the magnets keep falling off and pulling the shade off the window.

Got these cause i have existing blinds in my apartment. This thing is super useful. Blocks out light very well and very convenient to remove and put back up. I'm not having any issues with the adhesive it seems super strong and isn't showing signs of not sticking. However, the ashesive is stuck to the metal window frame, not the wall, this could have impact on stickiness.

The size was perfect for us and was very easy to customize. Works great for our basement window that is made out of glass blocks. Should be easy to wipe down and clean since is not made of fabric. Blocks out the sun. Since we won’t be touching it, other than a quick wipe down occasionally, be can comment on it’s durability. We covered it with curtains, so we can’t see it. It would look cheap by itself. Reminds be of a shower liner. The color was fine for this application.

It does the job for blocking light. That said, the product I received is thin and likely not durable. The thickness isn't an issue in itself, but is advertised with image that appears to show a somewhat complex and robust multi layer design with the different layers providing different features. The product I received is a single layer of synthetic fabric That doesn't look and feel so much different from a disposable table cloth. But despite it being thin, it does block out all light when installed flush with the window frame. Edit: I changed to 3 stars since the seller was willing to repay me.

As a day sleeper many days a week this has changed my life. Turned my room into a cavern. Worth every penny.

Great blackout curtains at a very reasonable price. Super easy to install and they cover the windows really well, blocking almost all the light. Very happy with this purchase.
