Recommended. The assembly was not hard although instructions were a bit unclear. It is solid enough--doesn't feel like cheap quality apart from the foot pads, which are simply huge hard plastic plates. Still, they work just fine and the experience is smooth and quiet and effective. I chose this model because the tension can be set quite high, so even just in the middle setting, it is a very solid pull. Rowing uses the whole body, so it's a nice satisfying workout. Very happy with my decision.

It was so quiet and comfortable, and it was also easy to assemble and of good quality. This rower has tension control from low 1 to high 16, and you can do it by count or time, which is so nice. I am so glad I bought this instead of the expensive ones. My teenage son also loves this rower, and he works on it every day. Since it is quiet, I decided to locate it in the living room. Actually, it matches the living room vibe and is good-looking. Now, I don’t need to wait extra time to work out because I am doing it while I am watching TV with my kids. I love it. They don't even notice that I am doing it. Everything you think of for the rower it has, I can't think of anything else. I highly recommend it; you’ll love it.

I'm 72yo female. My son said the assembly directions are outstanding. Operating instructions are non-existent but the machine itself is easy to use, doesn't require much room when in use, and stores vertically with very little effort. I found general rowing help on the internet, on correct position and type of effort expended. A personal trainer told me that 60% of the effort comes from the legs, 20% from abs, and 20% from arms. I walk on a treadmill regularly for cardio and lift hand weights, but this is low impact and for overall body strength. Display is helpful but doesn't include watts. I've had it two weeks and use it almost every day. This is definitely increasing my fitness and I'm very pleased, but I'm only on level 4 (out of 16). Delivery was several days longer than they originally promised.

I had made myself dizzy looking at these darn things at this price point. I choose this one due to the slightly heavier flywheel, im a lightweight but I wanted my sons to use it to. I'm 5'7 and they're 6' and it is long enough for them to fully stretch out they're legs. I've never liked free weights so this is the first time I actually am getting an upper body workout 💪.It was easy to assemble, a one person job. It's very quiet, it sounds like breathing which I find very peaceful. The seat is perfectly comfy, I was prepared to order a cushion for it but that's unnecessary. It seems well built but I just got it so hopefully it will last.I would definitely buy it again.

I ordered this rowing machine to keep my knees and arms limber. However since receiving it I use it all the time . I am in love the way it makes me feel once done. It’s easy to use and store in any space

Easy assemble. Very light weight and does what it's supposed to do. Handle-bar does feel a bit weak but so far, no issues. Resistance could be a little higher but otherwise no complaints.

The machine was great. Until it wasn't. On January 2nd, 2025. I was using it and the tension belt snapped from the handle. Handle went flying from my hand. No way for me to fix. If you contact them with the info provided in the manual the email will not go through. If you down load the what's app there number is not in it. I have worked with Amazon now for four days trying to contact hart wares and still no luck in contacting them. Instead, Amazon sent an email stating the seller couldn't be contacted. Now. I'm fed up and all I know to do is contact the card I used, stop making the payments and try to get a refund for the payments I'm already out. When , I simply just wanted another one. But, not now!
