Sam Edelman Women's Tinsley Classic Rain Boot

Love these. Very chic, look equally good with jeans and leggings, so they're great for walking the dog on rainy days or meeting friends across town. They're fairly narrow, which is uncommon for rain boots - not so narrow they're uncomfortable, but they don't have that typically clunky rain-boot feel. It just may mean you can't wear super thick socks underneath them.I do have to make sure I'm either wearing taller socks than usual or that my pants are securely tucked in, because while their stiffness does not make them uncomfortable, when my ankles/lower calves were not protected, I managed to get a blister about 4" from the floor. More bizarre than uncomfortable, but it meant that I was reticent to put them on in the next few days of that stretch of rain. It's fine if your legs are protected.

Absolutely LOVE these boots. The second time I wore them my dog got out of her electric fence and I spent about an hour trekking through the muddy woods before I was able to catch her. My feet stayed dry, comfortable, stylish and warm (it was about 35 degrees out) the whole time. The boots also still look brand new and are holding up exceptionally well. They may not stand the test of time but for the prIce I will happily buy them again. Only real con I’ve found is the boot will rub against my skin on the back of my leg if there isn’t something inbetween.

I normally wear US 9 for all my shoes and ordered a 9 for these boots. I have narrow feet and the front end of the shoe felt narrow even for me when I first put them on. I was tempted to size up but decided to persist and wore them a few more times before I made a decision. I'm glad that I stuck it out because the shoes eventually broke in after a few days to the point now where I feel no pressure / rubbing on my toes. So 9 was definitely the right size for me! The insole, however, is thin and not comfortable for walking on uneven surfaces or long distances. Following the recommendations of other reviewers I replaced them with Dr Scholls Sport Gel insoles. All it took was a bit of trimming around the front edges for the insoles to fit perfectly in the boots and now the shoes are more comfortable than ever! Love the matte look too, which definitely makes it more wearable on non rainy days. In terms of waterproofing, I would say they are 95% waterproof. I wasn't completely dry and felt some moisture around my toes when walking around in heavy rain. I also have to avoid puddles when walking to prevent more water from getting in.

I wasn’t sure these were going to work because I have wide feet. At first, they were too tight with the insoles. I wore them for extended walks between my house and my bus stop without them. It started to hurt a little after the second walk. I decided to try it again with the insoles and - miracle of miracles - the boots had stretched just enough so that they now fit perfectly. I’ve worn them several times now since it’s been rainy around here lately. I walk a lot and they feel good. I’ve gotten random compliments from both women and men because they just look like stylish Chelsea boots.

Warning: Fresh out of the box, these tracked black marks all across my cream carpet! I would recommend trying them on outside or on a hard surface only, and then scrub the soles if you keep them.My housemate bought these and they looked so cute and simple, I figured I’d order a pair too. I usually wear (and ordered) a 9 with regular width, but this was very very narrow. There’s major pressure on the inner sides of my feet/above the arches, and just a tiny bit of pinch at the toe when I walk and the rubber/material creases.That being said, I still like the look so I’m probably going to try a 10 next. (Since the 9 Wide isn’t available at the same price right now.) Definitely recommend sizing up, unless you know you’ve got narrow feet.I’ll just make sure not to try the next pair on inside!

UPDATE: After about a month of wearing them, the sole lining in the right shoe came loose and kept riding up as I walked, so I had to remove it completely. Not really a big deal (especially because I wear insoles so I don't feel the difference), but disappointing. Also, since purchasing, both my sister and mom have bought the same shoes and also had to size up from a half size: my sister is a size 7.5 and tried both the 7 and the 8, eventually going with the 8. My mom is a size 6.5 and kept the size 7 that my sister had bought.I ordered these in a size 8 from Amazon and purchased them in-store in a size 9 from Nordstrom. I ended up keeping the size 9, as the size 8 was just a tiny bit too small (due in part to the slightly pointed toe). A size 8.5 would have been perfect, but I decided that the size 9 with thicker socks was preferable to somewhat squished toes They're really cute, and so far have kept me dry in both rain and snow. For the most comprehensive size reference as possible: I'm a size 8 in lace-up Converse, lace-up Tretorn, slip-on Vans, and tall Hunter rain boots, and a size 8.5 in slip-on Sperry's and most ballet flats.

I've been wanting to purchase these boots for a long time. They're incredibly cute and I had read they fit well. I anxiously waited for them to arrive and they were so cute in person. When I tried them on, they fit like a glove! So perfect. However, as I had taken them off, I noticed that the sole was not glued to the bottom of the boot. I had to pull it out and readjust the sole to fit back in. As I walked around, it was clear that the sole was either too big for the bottom of the boot or that it has been poorly cut and fit inside. I figured that maybe because it was a rainboot that maybe the sole does come out (?? not sure) so I left it alone. Walking to work on a wet day, I could feel my ankle a little damp. I looked inside my boot on the stretch band and it had ALREADY been unraveling!!! It was the second time I had worn it!!!I would have given only one star, but because when they're actually on and aren't causing issues, they're cute boots. Other than that, it's not worth the head/heart ache.

En general están bien. Pero lastiman.Me rosaron el arco del pie porque están muy rasposas por dentro y traía puesto un calcetín muy delgado y solo las use 30 minutos.Desde ese día no las he vuelto a usar.

I have actually purchased a pair of these before, except they are the older model (same name though) and were shiny black rubber. Those were uncomfortable and pinched my toe every time I took a step, also were too high for my ankles, also quite heavy, and rubber was too hard. I saw these and noticed they were matte and probably a newer version and decided to give it one last try. These are fantastic! The rubber is softer and more malleable so there is no pinching, the ankle height is just right - not too high, and the fit is a bit more narrow, but this is a plus for me as I have small feet I suppose and feel more secure in place. They just feel a lot more comfortable. The only downside is that the inside, where the expandable fabric is - it's very scratchy and if you don't wear long socks it will be extremely uncomfortable. I am going to get some flannel and hot glue gun it in the scratchy areas OR invest in long socks. Haven't decided yet, but I know that this is an easy fix and isn't an issue with how the shoe fits when I walk. I'm a size 6, and 5'0, 100lbs if that helps.

They’re cute but they leak!!! Do not wear them when it rains as they won’t do a good job at keeping the water out.
