X Dranzer Spiral 3-80T Anniversary X-Over Balance Type Right-Spinning Top and Launcher; Battling Top Toys for 8 Year Old Boys and Girls

The Hasbro Beyblade Dranzer Spiral 3-80 T (Taper) is a balance type Beyblade (Japanese spinning tops) engineered by Takara Tomy (TT; a Japanese toy manufacturer) as an “X-Over Project” or “Crossover Project” collaboration to market the newest generation of Beyblade in the US. Hailing from the plastic generation of Beyblade, Dranzer comes to the US market in a red color Blade called “Dranzer Spiral” which is the same as the Japan version, “3-80,” a 3-sided rachet, and a bit (the part of the Beyblade that makes contact with the stadium floor) called “T” which stands for “Taper” which causes the bey to speed around the stadium to make attacks at the cost of a loss of some stamina but in keeping with Dranzer as a balance type, it is able to re-adjust better after being knocked off-balance when compared to full attack bits (i.e. like Flat or Rush), so it has much better stamina while still having good enough movement to do off-balance damage to opponents. Being a plastic generation bey, Dranzer has been modified by the TT engineers with metal contact points to make the “crossover” compatibility possible into the Beyblade X meta. However, since it is plastic, it is unfortunately lighter than most of the competition. For the record, it seems to be made with the same materials as its blue Japanese TT counterpart (see pic). I can confirm that the Japanese Beyblade X launchers like the TT string launcher and X winder launchers both fit nicely on this Hasbro Beyblade. In conclusion, the Dranzer Spiral Beyblade X booster offers some collectible charm with its special coloration, and should be welcomed by any fan of Beyblade nostalgia. So I therefore approve of this BX-00 booster release [believe me, this feels like a rarity for me, knowing full well of Hasbro’s sales strategy and cost-cutting measures for the last decade].

So happy to have been able to pick up a re-release of this classic beyblade in the X design format. However do keep in mind that this beyblade isn’t really intended to be used competitively as it is much lighter than the average X beyblade, also the paint on the contact points of the blade is likely to chip off when batting other beyblades. All in all it really seems to be mostly intended more for display purposes rather than actual use.

It's fun to play with and it's in my favorite color and I'm happy that Hasbro doing the crossover into beyblade x

Great beyblade

DranzerSpiral is one of the best anti-attack options in the BEYBLADE X meta game right now. On 5-80P, all the heavy attackers cannot ko or outspin it. The 3-80 on this release is the strongest clock I've seen yet in BEYBLADE X. The Taper bit on this release is thicker than Takara Tomy, so it's overall much better and makes TyrannoBeat 9-80 combos go crazy! Highly recommended!

Love this remake of the original. Doesn't seem to get me many wins but I don't care cus it looks cool. The red paint does rub off a bit so my arena has a few marks on it now

Does not come with a launcher!! Despite the website description and pictures this is the Beyblade only, no launcher. I have a very disappointed six year old
