Perfect for measuring

Good laser measuring tool. Could probably do with a spirit level in it for when you're trying to judge a distance without something to rest it on but works perfectly well. Let's you adjust whether the measurement should account for the length of the box or just count from the from of it so makes things as simple as possible really, can't fault it.

The media could not be loaded. Coming in a plain brown box with batteries, lanyard and a set of instructions this opens to light small little device.I didnt even need to look at the manual, pressing buttons and stuff just all made sense. It showed on its large display what type of measurement i was taking aswell as just "measure" from where you pointed it. It can swap between unit types and store/math square meterage if needed.Its as accurate as i can match it with a tape measure maybe being a mm or so off but im putting that down to myself and the human error over this being anywhere near off.The two spirit levels are the perfect touch in matching if its perfectly flat and its light enough it should survive a drop.

I received mine yesterday and had send it back due to it not turning on. I’m sure this was a very rare thing but still disappointing

This is a handy device; it’s easy to operate and doesn’t take up much room in a toolbox. There is a wide choice of measurement units, and the display is very clear.The twin spirit levels are a good inclusion to ensure more accurate and repeatable results. It runs off ordinary AAA batteries, so you won’t have to worry whether it’s charged up before using it, just pop new batteries in and away you go. I know that’s not the most environmentally friendly way of doing things but for a tool that might not be used often, it does make life easier.

This 'Laser Distance Meter' is a pretty barebones pack. Inside you get the measure, a lanyard, the batteries and instructions.To use for basic measuring you simply press the green button to wake the unit up, a second time to start the laser and a third time to register the measurement. Each subsequent measurement shows in the memory (up to 4 measurements).Additionally mid-left button gives the ability to measure areas and volumes automatically. Each press of the button cycles it through area of a rectangle, volume of a cuboid and 2 measurements for measurement of a triangle.The other buttons change the volume/mute, change the measurement units and turn the unit off/clear the screen.Measurements seem quite accurate - certainly over short distances, and accurate enough for me over longer distances.£29.99 for the 120m version seems fair to me. It works well and the extra utility of working out areas and volumes on the fly is a real bonus.

I ordered this lazer measuring tool which arrived with instructions, batteries, and a strap to put it around your wrist. There are several features I liked about it.• It is compact and doesn't take up much more room than a standard tape measure.• The batteries are included.• There are spirit level type bubbles, so you know you have it level when measuring.• It Measures distance, area and volume.• There is an audible beep, which can be switched on or off.• It can add or subtract consecutive measurements.• It has a memory function• It can measure from the front or the back of the unit.Overall its a very useful tool, which takes up very little room, the measurements I've done with it so far have all been accurate having subsequently checked with a standard tape measure, so I'm very happy to recommend it.
