I purchased the kilt for summer months in Southern US, I paddle from class I to III, comfortable and cool was my main reason.The kilt is long, way pass the knees, but I understand, very one is not the same, I had it tailored to me, for check fit, kneel with the kilt on, whatever is passed the knee for correct fitting, needs to be removed.

Even though I've lost weight, I can add a belt and it stays up. Love the pockets! Can never have too many.

They say it fits size 28” to 40”. I am a 38” and needed a belt to keep it from falling off. The snaps are of poor quality and do not stay snapped allowing the front of the kilt to fly open. I feel you would get more secure coverage from a sarong. Lengthwise the kilt fell to my shins.

Fabric=10/10, versatility =10/10, sizing= 9/10, and performance =3/10. It would not stay fastened. Sitting at my desk.. .snap pops open. Copying papers....snap pops open. I was walking to my truck and the only thing holding it together was the velcro around the waist. They got yo do better on the way the kilt fastens closed.

Because I've never worn a kilt before, I may have measured wrong when I ordered. So it is too large on me. The velcro on the inner waistline helps tighten it up somewhat, but it might need to be altered professionally to fit me properly. The way the inner flap with the Velcro slips down makes it a tad uncomfortable at times, though that might not be an issue if you get the correct size.I do want to note that the button snaps are not the best quality as they come undone with very little force. Wearing a belt makes that a minor issue. Other than that (and the Velcro not connecting where I need it, I'd really like this kilt.

I would return this if I didn't miss the windows, the snaps come undone with the smallest bit of pressureJust sitting down would cause snaps to undo, wear a belt or you won't be wearing anything in a matter of secondsWould be nice if they didn't cheap out on the snaps
